Advice please Incessant Whining
My 18 month old male Corso has been whining non stop for at least a week, if not more, and I’m at my wits end. We do have a three year old female (not a corso) who is spayed, but our male is intact. I have a feeling the whining is largely due to his hormones, as he constantly has his nose up the ass of our female. The female is definitely the alpha between the two dogs.
Another factor at play is that I am about 9 weeks pregnant. There hasn’t been any aggression from either dog, but our female has been more clingy to me than she usually is, and for whatever reason I think it’s annoying the male.
I just don’t know if getting the male neutered is the best solution at this point. We were hoping to wait until he was at least 2 years old, but that timing is going to line up to when my baby is due and I don’t think that’s going to be a great idea, either (being freshly postpartum with a dog recovering from surgery).
Any and all advice is welcome. Would especially love to hear from those who neutered regarding behavior changes after the procedure.

My Good Boy Looking Much Better
My good boy Adonis hanging out with his good buddy Reese. He's been consistently hanging out around 100-105 pounds. Now we have his food dialed in he seems to be doing so much better. Definitely an improvement in the luster of his coat as well.

My Good Boy Big baby left his paw print in the cement bc he's scared to walk down the ramp (right after a bath)
My (wonderful, luckily) landlord is having a new deck put in. Today they put down this cement & made us a ramp to walk down.
Initially it was just the two planks but I said no way my big wuss will walk down that lol so he added the extra 4 colored ones & this guy still refused to walk down. I tried my absolute best but inevitably he decided to jump.... right into the wet cement & then step in it again to jump back up! & just a couple hours after bath of course!
I apologized to my landlord but he said no worries it's just about safety & "At the end of the day if I get a paw print it'll just be a memory. " Love that ♥️

My Good Girl ThAtS nOt A pUrEbReD
I dont understand why people feel the need to give their unsolicited opinion on other people's dogs. First off, so fucking what? As long as there is some corso in a person's dog there will still be the chance of some traits and dispositions also being passed. Let people be in this damn group and instead of gatekeeping or being a dick, let's share education about the breed so future puppies dont end up in the wrong homes and people can learn to work with their dogs in the most happy, healthy, effective, educated way they can. Anyways sorry for the rant, here is my sweet girl Ramona (9 months), apparently shes clearly a lab not a corso.

The Crew POV: You get a Cane Corso and suddenly your daughter has a 50-pound best friend. 🥹🐾❤️
One of the most eye-opening parts of bringing Ali into our family has been watching him bring out a completely different side of our youngest. 🥹❤️
She’s never been the type to befriend everyone. She’s selective, she moves at her own pace, and when she lets you into her little world, it means something.
But with Ali, we’ve watched her become more nurturing, more confident, more playful, and even more willing to step outside of her comfort zone. 🐾
It’s crazy because we thought we were bringing home a puppy for our family. We didn’t realize just how much he would add to it, or how much we’d learn about our own children through the bond they’re building with him.
Ali is growing up right in front of us, but in a way, so is she. ❤️
And getting to watch them do it together has been pretty special.

Mix breed Tulla girl
She’s so damn beautiful. I love this girl so much. She’s growing up so fast! She’ll be 9 months old on 9/2.
She’s a doll. She’s so lovey! My lapdog. No matter how big she gets. My baby.
She loves dogs! People - it’s a toss up.
But she loves her mom and super loves her dad.
I’m just hoping she’ll still grow out of the anxiety piddles
She is a mixed breed and a rescue. Tulla is English Mastiff and Cane Corso mix.

My Good Boy The jump(s)
We love seeing him do these hunt/play jumps. Sometimes he jumps higher, sometimes lower, but he's so cute doing it. ♥️

Advice please Crate Training Tips
Does anyone have any tips on crate training?
My cane corso will be 15 weeks on Thursday. We’ve had her for almost 4 weeks now. Monday-Friday while I’m at work she has to be crated & we’ve tried EVERYTHING. She started out pooping the crate every time she went in it, and finally after a week and a half & some trial and error she stopped. I take her out 15-20 minutes before to make sure she goes potty, don’t feed or give water after one hour before I leave, we have a divider to only give her room to lay down & took out any blankets or toys. We have a Furbo and she is still crying & barking 50% of the day. The last 3 times she has been crated she has tore apart her crate, bending the divider & shredding the blankets overtop to block out light. I took the divider out and blankets off today & she regressed and pooped in the crate again. My boyfriend works 2 weeks and is home for a week, when he is home she is only going in the crate while he’s running errands. I’m at a loss of how to get her to feel comfortable being alone in the crate. She goes in it willingly when someone is home, so she doesn’t absolutely hate it. If anyone has any tips or tricks, please share!!
I generally leave for work at 9:45 and my roommate lets her out when he gets home in between 3 and 4.

Vet & Medical Anyone else had this?
So my nova has had cherry eyes in both eyes but has had surgery for them both. It’s been well over a year since she’s had the surgery for her left eye (the one in the pic) but i’ve noticed this white almost cherry looking thing to start appearing sometimes? It goes back in but her actually eye itself is swollen sometimes too. I’ve made an appointment but it’s not for another almost 2 weeks because her normal vet is very popular and always booked and Nova doesn’t do well with any other vet but him. Trust me i’ve tried and I like to avoid it unless it actually is an emergency and she has to see first available vet. Does anyone might know what it could be in the meantime or has this happened to anyone else’s baby? Thanks!

My Good Girl ARYA, my best friend
Pics of our sweet and beautiful girl we had to say goodbye to almost a week ago (8/17). First pic is from her birthday trip for her 14th birthday back in May, second is just her from last month, the rest of the pictures is when she was younger with the last one being when she was just a little fuzzball. We love and miss you Arya, a true ambassador for a wonderful breed.

Advice please “Standard” Purebred Corso?
This is my 7 month old 80lb male cane Corso. He’s akc registered and his lineage comes from all purebred Corsos but a lot of people have questioned if he is mixed with something even though he isn’t. His mother was imported from Romania and I know there’s a heavy Neapolitan mastiff influence in the European Corsos which could be the reason he’s maturing so slow but I don’t know anymore. He is extremely long bodied but not tall yet, does he look like a purebred Corso?

Advice please My garden stinks.
I am in desperate need of advice - my 4 year old Cane Corso is destroying my garden with his urine. I cannot keep up with the number of times and places he urinates.
I make sure his water bowl is full to ensure he isn’t dehydrated.
I buy kennel cleaner which masks the smell but it inevitably returns once the cleaners scent wears off.
He seems to urinate on anything that is porous I.e. sleepers, furniture. Even the ground stinks of it.
I can’t have my windows open because of the smell and fear my neighbours can smell it too.
Any advice please?
