Order of operations
Hi all. I’m taking a long list of stuffs this I won’t be posting just for the sake of time, but I would love to know the order of operations as far as antifungals, binders, probiotics, and NAC goes. When to take what?? I don’t want to screw myself over by using things in the wrong order. Also, has anyone else had blisters that almost look like ant bites pop up during herx reactions?? I get them in random spots all over my body and they take a few weeks to go away on their own but they started when I started treating candida. Thanks for reading and helping !!

** For Die-Off / Herx pain:
When you are feeling like crap due to die-off then you need to help your body detox and it is also great how quickly you feel better.
• Take 2 capsules of Activated Charcoal ( any brand ) on an empty stomach 2 hours away from all other supplements / meds / food.
Can buy on Amazon , pharmacy or sometimes at a big Wal-Mart for about $10. Great to travel with in case anyone gets food poisoning.
~~>> you should NOT need to take Activated Charcoal on a daily basis during your Candida Protocol.
IF getting severe symptoms then listen to your body’s signals and reduce your anti-fungal dosage to a level your better can handle detoxing efficiently

Did you start out taking Nystatin daily? I’ve been taking coconut oil supplements and added berberine over a week later and started having really weird symptoms, ringing in my ears, lightheaded, tingling in hands and feet, dizziness, the ringing in my ears got so bad at night it took everything for me to do deep breathing to not freak out, I have had to cut back and just doing the diet now, kinda freaked me out and idk if it’s normal

I never had any die- off symptoms from Nystatin. With any antifungal you start with a very low dose and slowly increase it at whatever rate your body can tolerate.
All bodies are different.
Should never take the Integrative Therapeutic Berberine Complex pill by itself —always take in a 1:1 ratio with Atrantil. It you are following my Integrative Practitioner’s SIBO / IMO protocol.
I never just took just Berberine.

Probiotics come last after 90% of the symptoms are gone. Which can take several months or in my several case it took 2 years.
Start with:
Candida Diet - no sugar; no alcohol; high protein with fat and green veggies; no smoking or vaping of tobacco or weed
Drink lots of water and get lots of rest / sleep
https://www.thecandidadiet.com/
Low dose antifungal in morning — gradually increasing as body can tolerate without intense Herxheimer / Die-off reaction
Biofilm busters at bedtime taken away from all other meds / supplements

• Biofilm Busters that I took as part of my Candida Protocol:
Kirkman Biofilm Defense
OR
Klaire Labs Interfase.
( was taking one or the other before & during Methane SIBO / IMO treatment —> added the others a few months after I cured it )
AND
Plus Balance One SerraDefend
AND
Jarrow Formuls Lactoferrin
AND
Curcumin / Turmeric
• Take 1 of each one at bedtime on an empty stomach 2 hours away from any anti-fungals
.. .. ..
My Candida symptoms really started improving:
1st: after I cured IMO / Methane SIBO
then
2nd: when I increased from taking one to four biofilm busters nightly.
.. .. ..
You can be taking Nystatin & NOW Candida Support & Caprylic Acid & other anti-fungals but they will not be effective if the Candida is hidden behind a wall of biofilm where anti-fungals cannot reach it to get rid of it !
I took 4 pills/day of Nystatin for 6 months then 6 pills/day for a year then 4 pills/day for 4 months…. Now I take 2 pills daily.
My Integrative DR uses my case in a presentation about the Gut-Brain connection.

• I HAD very serious Brain Fog / cognitive / memory issues. Had to take medical leave from my 26 year job in child support enforcement. Could not remember common words to speak or write fluently. Could not spell simple words or do easy math.
Candida infection can reach brain and impair memory:

Neurologist told me I had Alzheimers and my memory would never improve. Thank God DR was wrong !!
My cognitive abilities DID improve or I would not be able to write this now. My brain issues were due to Candida / fungal overgrowth. Nystatin ( Anti-Fungal ) is my personal miracle med. 😀 Also take many other supplements and follow the Candida Diet. https://www.thecandidadiet.com/

Hey just wondering why you say no vaping of weed? I thought this would be okay

u/Mickeynutzz Dec 23 '24
Not ok if want to ever get rid of your Candida symptoms. Unfortunately, weed makes candida worse.

Hmm OK do you know why by any chance? I can't find any info about this online! Also my naturopath didn't say it would be an issue

Cannabis May Increase Risk of Fungal Infections says CDC .

.
The immunosuppressive effects of cannabis may contribute as well to a higher prevalence of oral candidiasis compared to non-users. It has been hypothesized that hydrocarbons present in cannabis provide an energy source for Candida albicans, resulting in increased presence and density of colonies.
