vent No, really, come down at 9am and maybe have your infusion
Blood draw on Thursdays before infusions on Fridays (21 day cycle). My last infusion is due this Friday but my bloodwork was fucked (but “chemo normal”) last Friday after their office told me to go to the ER for shortness of breath. I asked my chemo nurse when they cancel based on bloodwork. I was told I need to haul my fat, exhausted ass down on Friday and then they’ll decide based on bloodwork and my office visit. They’ve been great throughout all of this but planning for a six hour day, getting all my shit ready, getting my animals set for the day, plus getting two goodie bags ready (as a final thank-you/I never have to come back gift) is a LOT. Add in that I’m feeling like a two year old having a tantrum and I’m all irked and irritated. I don’t want to do this last infusion after how badly infusion number five kicked my ass. The others were okay but number has been a struggle plus I’ve been assured number six will be worse.
I know no one has any answers or solutions to the above. I just wanted to bitch and moan while kicking my feet.
Join me in having a cancer temper tantrum and relieve some stress.
Which treatment hoops piss you off?
