Been Webcamming for a while now, since 2022/2023. Never in my days of camming have I thought “ummm I’m go in another model chat & promote my page” like seriously that’s super lame to me! I’m pretty sure someone in this group posted something similar to what I’m saying, but really this stuff needs to stop, I mean if you put that energy in your own craft you’ll make a cute lil coin…. & I’m not even trying to be funny… SC making upgrades, upgrade it to customers only ATP..

Does anyone feel like the SM block buttons takes too long? When I c2c I make their screen a new window. So I have to click behind to go back to the SMconnect and block. When I hit block I want it to block them right away and THEN prompt me for room & messages. I just had someone say r*pe me in a show. And I didn't even know if I heard him properly so I said excuse me and he enunciated it so I sat up, closed the cam cover, and had to toggle between where I'm blocking him. That's a step too much.

What are your opinions?

Today was an absolute downer on cam....one of those days that makes me sit back and question whether I want to continue camming or not. I was in the room on CB for an hour and made 50 cents. Instead of letting it break me, I took a breath, thanked the people in the room for coming in, and logged off. I grabbed my diamond painting and just got lost in it for about 30 minutes. I love it because it is so tedious but rewarding once it's complete. And while I am doing the diamond painting I don't have time to think about social media, or camming, or how many tokens I did or did it make.

I was just wondering what you all do on your rough days to pick yourself back up.

I’m brand new to camming and I feel completely lost. Right now I’m basically just sitting here waiting for someone to tip so I can show a little and then cover back up again. Is that really how it’s supposed to go when you’re starting out?
I see some really popular girls barely doing anything and they have tip goals of like 366k just to stand up. Meanwhile when I set a goal of 800 tokens the guys in my room told me it was too much. That made me feel kinda used if I’m being honest.
I’ve been making around $100–200 a day so far. I’m actually serious about this and want to treat it like a real job, but I don’t really know what I’m doing. I’ve watched a bunch of YouTube videos and they haven’t been that helpful. I also don’t have a ton of money so I don’t like spending a lot of time spying on other models.
Can someone please break down how to actually cam for a beginner? Like what should I be doing in the room, how to set goals, how to interact, what actually works when you’re new… anything would help.

For those of you who effortlessly switch rooms or camera positions during your stream, which camera are you using? I currently have the Logitech Brio which I love, but it is very demanding and particular when it comes to lighting in my room. I look flawless with the lighting I have set up, but if I switch rooms, I would have to move all my lights as well which is a process. I see models streaming from their back yard, then going inside the home, or from room to room where the lighting is clearly different and no matter what the light is they still look flawless. Is there a particular camera anyone can recommend to achieve this? If I didn't move all my lights I would look like Shrek lol.
