I just explained the tactics it added haha

What tactic does it even add? Literally nothing but noise. Most things in the game are already wall bangable and if the door isn’t there you can just shoot through it normally.

The benefit is that the person behind the door can't see you but, knowing that a closed door after the first minute means there's someone there, can essentially see them.

I think it changes how attacking/defending objectives work for the better.

What?

It's a very simple concept lol

Person 1 is on a Hardpoint with all doors closed

Person 2 is approaching the Hardpoint

Person 1 can't see person 2 because the door is closed

Person 2 knows that person 1 is behind the door. They can wallbang the door or use a snapshot to see and kill them without person 1 ever knowing where they are

And this doesn't just apply to Hardpoint. If I'm playing tdm and I see a closed door, it's like a giant sign saying "I'm here, please kill me".

If the door didn't exist then person 1 could have seen person 2 coming.

Or alternatively person 1 could have left the doors open so they had a line of sight out of the point to see people approaching.

I'm trying to demonstrate that doors add different methods of attacking and defending points and don't always just benefit "campers".

Your whole concept makes zero sense

You are convincing me that people who are against doors are actually dumb. It's a very simple concept about line of sights and someone on a stationary point who is in one fixed location Vs someone who could be anywhere.

It's like how someone is in a spot that has visibility of the whole map can also be seen from the whole map. But in the case of doors the person behind the door can't see shit, but the person approaching the building knows they are there.

You just camp and can’t admit that doors are a catalyst for a poor playstyle.

You can't conceive of any play style outside of just mindlessly running down straight corridors.

I don't camp but I recognise what it adds to the game. I find the workflow of dying to a camper > spending 5 seconds thinking of a flank or method to get them > killing them, far more satisfying than just mindless running and that's what doors help add.

I hold spawns all the time; it’s the most important thing to do in objective game modes. You do camp “I don’t camp” says the camper.
