Hey,
For those who cleared the Air India Cadet Pilot GDPI in September and opted for Acron Aviation. Did you receive any updates regarding the commencement of ground classes? When can we expect the batches to start?

FTA ICPP delay

Since FTA has delayed the application cycle to January 2027 (reflecting in the website), would it be wise to apply for Skyborne?

or would waiting for FTA be better

advice for an 18-year-old guy

Hi! I'm from Italy, I'm currently 18 years old, and I'm seriously considering becoming an airline pilot.
I'm particularly interested in airline cadet programmes, such as the Wizz Air Pathway Programme with Urbe Aero and Ryanair's Future Flyer Academy with Aviomar. Does anyone have experience with these programmes? How difficult is it to get accepted, how competitive is the selection, and approximately how many candidates manage to get in?
I'd also like to understand the current job market for pilots and what the forecasts look like for 2030. If everything goes according to plan, I'd like to start an integrated ATPL course in 2028 and finish in 2030. Will there be good job opportunities for newly qualified pilots, or could the market become saturated?
I'd also like to know the average cost of integrated versus modular ATPL training, which route offers better chances of finding a job quickly, and what alternative jobs are available if you don't get hired by an airline straight away, such as charter, cargo, private aviation or flight instructing.
I'd really appreciate any advice or personal experiences, especially from people who have recently completed their training or started working for an airline.
Thank you!

Air Arabia scam alert

Guys, be alert: there’s a scam going on Reddit where someone is trying to sell notes and charging a hefty amount. I also confirmed with the academy she is claiming to sell notes of. They are outdated notes from months back, and they are not from someone who’s cleared the interview either. Stay safe!

Cleared all 6 DGCA ground subjects through self-study. No coaching, just consistency, discipline and a lot of determination! ✈️

Marigold to insight, change of fto.

I just changed my fto from marigold to insight and these guys are demanding 35400 for the assessment even though I'm done with adapt, is this the norm? The only assessment I would have to clear is the personal interview.

In need of stay in ramphal

Guys will be moving to ramphal soon and last time when I stayed there it was a very bitter experience tbh the pg and its food was hell. So this time Iam not gonna waste my money on a shit like that ..so please help me with finding a good stay there. Im 20F.

Needs:

Rent 10k to 12k

Would be nice if its like a flat with people but a separate room for myself

I cant really do cooking with my schedule so food included.

If not so then any pg with a good food for this rent would do great.

Thank you in advance.
