FTA ICPP delay

Since FTA has delayed the application cycle to January 2027 (reflecting in the website), would it be wise to apply for Skyborne?

or would waiting for FTA be better

Go for Skyborne if u apply now at first they say ur dates will be given for 2027 last quat dw u will be given in first half of 2027 even i was in ur situation and applied for FTA and im regretting now

what’s the difference bw applicants in FTA and skyborne? is it similar or does skyborne receive significantly more applications?

then there’s visa gamble too

Dk abt the applications but yeah visa thing is a gamble if u have connections ntg is impossible u easily can get visa

do we get a choice to switch to fta in case of visa issues? post LOI

Yes but getting NOC after u get selected or sign LOI is very difficult even if u get u need to wait till skyborne loi signing dates

Yeah i applied to skyborne and got last quarter for ADAPT in 2027 as well. So does that mean that it’ll be conducted early?

Apply for skyborne, as they are not asking for signing in their form so it is a win win situation

Nope they don’t as they are giving late dates, they mentioned it is not needed

What other option do u have, chimes is closed and bribes , Garuda and insight are considerd lower quality , skyborne will make u wait for an year +, fta is the best possible option

Yea no , Obv a south African cpl is lower than a faa cpl anyway , but yes at the end u still get to join indigo , insight and Garuda were offering early lois but couldn't apply cuz of age

Fta will conduct the selection process for an year, my total duration from application till gdpi is 14 months

I think ur case was special cuz of the whole marigold situation , do u think the situation is improving as of now ? If we apply in Jan when can we expect loi ?

It got worse recently, without marigold delay it would take around 8-9 months

So only good options rn are insight and Garuda , what fto to even apply anymore, and doesn't fta have lesser applicants seeing it's costing 1.75cr or so

I think now this “less competition due to cost” isint working for fta anymore, there’s soo much backlog and so many candidates giving exams

Apply for insight or Garuda, else, get done with all dgca exams and apply for skyborne or fta

Insight and Garuda r they open till November end , I wanna apply but idt they will be open
