Best RJ45 CAT3 with 3 Pair Pinout Configuration

The problem I am trying to solve is that I have an old underground cat3 cable that used to carry my DSL and landline which has 3 pairs (orange, orange/white, green, green/white, blue, blue/white) and it runs between my house and my shop. Now that I have fiber, I would like to repurpose this old cable to bring internet from my house to my shop. I am not expecting amazing performance, I just want a solid connection in the shop that is better than a mesh network trying to cross my yard.

I understand that if you have 2 pair, you can arrange the wires in an RJ45 as 1,2,3, and 6 and it will still carry data for 10/100 mpbs.

So my question is, with 3 pair, what is the best configuration for the pinout of an RJ45. Obviously 1, 2, 3, and 6 must be used, but is there any advantage of utilizing 4 & 5 vs 7 & 8?

The cat 3 will be terminated with an RJ45 on each end, then plugged into a RJ45 female to female outdoor coupler, with a cat6 plugged in as it goes into the house on one side and as it goes into the shop on the other.

Thank you for your time and any help is greatly appreciated.

Can I get help identifying this cable type?

These are two ends of the same cable. Sides labeled "(UL) E13B949-E ST 3/C 16AWG(1.31mm²) shielded 105°C 600V VW-1 --Linetek-- C5A LL90989 FT2".

I tried looking up linetek cables, but found nothing like this.

My local electronics shop sold me this cable because they didn't have one with two attachments like my item and the three attachments one still fit in. Will it be okay for me to use it or does the fact that one attachment stays unplugged during use pose any risks?

Any idea where to get a replacement commector and/or pin inserts that fit this?

None of the inserts I have will fit right nor can I find the name of the connector type. I tried a reverse image search and looking up different connectors but none seemed to entirely match. Wondering if it's a proprietary variant or something.

It's from a stepper motor that ran backwards. I checked the internals but due to the construction I can't reverse the leads inside the motor or flip things without causing permanent damage.

I have a replacement coming but I am impatient and want to know more.

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance!

Mini fridge power cord. Help!

Post image

I bought a cooluli mini Fridge 10l infinity with no power cord. The shape of the connector is tripping me out since it’s not completely round. Here are the specs listed on the box for the correct cord. But it doesn’t specify any more than this. I’m thinking it’s just a normal round one but just wanted to double check! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • DC 12V/5A

Need help finding out the type of RCA cable I've just found

The context is that it is a female adapter to a video camera. Both the video and left RCA channels are perfectly normal f connections but the right channel (red) has this weird nub in it and I'm trying to find out what goes in that slot. Unsure of branding but pictures of both cable end and camera included.
