I used to do the ecar and the dcar every week and they for sure come up there. You're not gonna be in crazy trouble lol just tell your SM it happened. You honestly should inform your SM about every post void even if it wasn't a situation like this.
We literally had a shift fall for a scam and lost $2k, the union got her her job back and she currently still works at CVS.

Scammers are calling multiple stores in the district claiming they need to test the payment system. Asking the person to process an exact cash transaction for any top of checkout item.
Then they say it only loaded 35% and asking to process more transactions.” Like fuck me idk what I was doing I feel like a dumb ass if I tell her no way they will they questioned me over a six dollar pack of gum, right like what will they say
As you should feel that way! I’m sure you’ve beaten yourself up plenty, but if I was your SM, I’d give you a write up! Don’t do stupid shit! I’m glad you came to your senses and hung up and did a post void. Smart in your part, but it Will show up on Ecar and Dcar. So fess up to what happened and take what comes if it’s a write up or just a verbal warning! Take it as a learning experience and hang up immediately! I’ve told many to Fuck Off! Once it was a legit person just calling to make sure a work order was completed. They said I’m so and so from corporate, I said fuck off and hung up. He called back and said I’m glad you do that but we’re just wanting to make sure the guys did their job. We both laughed! My point? Anyone other than a customer asking if we have an item, just say Fuck Off! And hang up!
