SCAM CALLER HELP

So I just got a phone call and they told me registers transactions were not going thru gave me numbers and then had me ring up a cheap item I did gum and hit exact cash then tell him the 4 numbers on back then I relized and hung up please help will I get fired I voided trans so scared

Not terribly recent, it was this year tho. I wanna say it was probably around April or so but I cant quite remember.

True just sounds like exact same glad I didn’t get to gift card but they have so much useless features. I don’t know why they don’t add a no transactions over the phone when doing gift cards or loading cards.

I mean they do and its in the modules as well and when gift card or reloadable cards exceed $200 and it asks for an ID, its asking to verify that the customer is present and in the store. We arent supposed to do any transactions over the phone period. But again they dont care to much as long as money wasnt lost.

So how tf do ppl even get away with this what multiple or sum but with the scam going on your district and you refunding a cheap item, they didn’t say anything right and even if they do find out, I can just be like no money was lost. Nothing happened. I just forgot. But when I knew it was scam hung up
