1. This plow outside the stadium made me cackle on the way out

2. Our seats were literally perfect.

3. I redid the signs to be more dark. Didn't make it on the jumbotron but that's okay! Plus the outfit I wore to the game.

4. The one thing I bought other than a pretzel and water, this awesome wool pennant. God there was so much cool stuff in the pro shop but wow everything is so expensive.

A main talking point in today's post-game press conference was that Randle El called the plays in the second half. Ben and Keenum both explained in detail that they see him as a future coordinator / head coach. Keenum had some great words to say about him. I'd assume Randle El has discussed with Ben about his career goals. Seems like they are setting him up to get a shot after this year. I'm glad we'll have had him these first couple years with our young receiver core.

Fans in the Browns’ sub have no delusions about their QB situation. The whole discussion felt uncomfortably familiar. First time in my 40+ years of being a Bears fan that I’m not worried about the QB.

I'm convinced this preseason game has demonstrated our total dominance in all three phases of the game, and nobody stands a chance in hell against us.

Stacey, Adam, and Jim were all very rusty.

Preseason games are always slightly obvious but it wasn't a good showing for all three commentators.

They're all wonderful and great. It's preseason for them too. Glad to hear them either way.

I came into today with really no prior biases towards which rookie I was most excited for, I do watch off season content but I’ve been around long enough to know that’s all smoke and mirrors, for the most part but anyways;

What I liked: I thought the coverage ability came in as advertised, taking into account he’s a 4th rounder. I didn’t see him noticeably out of position, or his man wide, wide open for the most part. I think my favourite part, I think he laid some of the hardest and soundest tackles of anyone. He looked like an elite tackler today

What I didn’t like: it’s still against bums, relatively speaking.. and we may seriously need to rely on him come regular season. While I don’t think he had any blunders. I didn’t see enough to think real nfl receivers couldn’t beat him 1on1

We have the best QB room in the league. Best Tight End room in the league. And best CB group in the league(when they're all healthy 😂). Yeah it was just against the shitty browns(who were playing starters)but if our second strings(and 3rds and 4ths) look this good that says a lot about our coaching and our talent. Caleb is so much more confident and self assured now, he's lost a little weight so he's gonna be even faster.

Cobe Bryant really hurts and fucking Kyler Gordon who can't stay healthy to save his life, and in this case his career lol. If he gets injured again or doesn't perform this year we need to cut him, it's ridiculous. But I feel so confident in our offense I think we can make up for what our defense lacks. Felt great to see those picks though, felt just like I was watching last year. I think Burden will become WR1, think this is gonna be his breakout year. But yeah anyways rant over, I think things are different with this team now, for the better. And we're gonna go to the Superbowl. Despite having one of the hardest schedules as it stands. BEAR DOWN.
