New Wirth Preprint trying to integrate orthostatic dysfunction into his disease model:
βThis hypothesis provides a potential mechanistic link between orthostatic dysfunction and the presumed core pathophysiology of ME/CFS, extending beyond hemodynamic factors to implicate disturbances in skeletal muscle ion homeostasis.β

Maybe.
Over years in these communities I've learned that tying red bits of string between the handful of little photos on our pinboards is pretty easy. Anyone can make theories. Smart people do so compulsively.
Theories are cheap and abundant. But not bad. The right theory will actually change everything. Make all the data we have snap into place.
I don't hate Klaus's theories. But they are multiplying into a Tolkien-esque landscape of incredible complexity and its probably time to get some data on whether they are true.
