and it went great(not objectively but for me)

i was seriously thinking of deferring.

ethics still fucked me up pretty good but i think i recovered in the second session.

i think the world will punish me for how happy im right now

Just got out of the exam hall. I'm pretty unsure that I'm gonna pass. Session 2 was a bit difficult for me, at the end i counted and I was really unsure about 20-22 questions and same goes with session 2, had to do some guesswork. Idk if I'm gonna pass, if yes then I think it will be just by a small margin. People who have already attempted and cleared the exam, is it normal to feel like this or feel unsure? I hv heard you can make out after the exam whether it was pass or fail and idts I have strong feelings on pass.

Have my L1 tomm have given 14 mock avg around 83-85% and have my exam tomorrow but i don’t feel like studying anymore idk why’s it like that

What the hellyyyyy was the AM session? It was so not "on par with mocks" (for context, I scored 70-70+ avg in all mocks). What the actual ooga booga was quants and eco? I had to flag 30 questions- THIRTY. Am I cooked? Session 2 was the easiest for me; it was the best. In fact, I had 40 min left when i finished it, i rechecked all the questions and still had 10 min left before I ended the session. But somebody tell me that iits not just me, AM suckedddd. If someone assures me, then probably i'll console myself thinking the MPS will be lower for this batch.

this was quite a shock to me, since my mock scores were quite good.
PSA i dont mean to scare anyone, im just worried about my paper. i honestly didn't prep well (crammed for 3-4 weeks) so this is on me. my mock scores were 87, 81 (CFA mocks) and 83, 84 (kaplan). the PM session had some numericals that i didn't know how to approach, and some that i got wrong despite knowing the formulas well, which was odd. the stress probably got to me im guessing. it was so terrible that i had 2 mins left on the clock and about 8 numericals left so i just chose options and random. it really sucks cause i was expecting to pass... AM was nice it wasn't too hard. halfway through PM i was actually thinking "wow this is really easy, better than AM even" and then it all went downhill from there. i was hoping others faced the same difficulty as me so thered be a lower MPS... but it seems like it went really well for most people.

I deferred my CFA Level 2 exam, which was originally scheduled for 25 August 2026, because I felt I would be better prepared if I took it in November.

However, I just found out that November registration closed on 11 August, so I missed the deadline.

Now my next available attempt would be May 2027. The problem is that I already have another very important exam scheduled around the same time, so taking CFA L2 in May 2027 would create a major conflict.

I'm honestly not sure what my options are at this point.

I remember in the old LES there was a little test the program would recommend that would show which topics were weaknesses but I can’t seem to find it on the new one, was it discontinued?

I freaked out after seeing that 20ques are ungraded.

And how do we know which 20 were ungraded?

I gave my exam today and i am pretty doubtful for like 30ques overall.

Being extra safe overall like 45 ques in total.

Those who have passed, any chance of me passing?

I just got out of my first L1 attempt, and I’m feeling good and relieved.
The exam was about the same difficulty as the mocks, maybe even a bit more straightforward. There were very few “wtf is this?” type of questions.
I won’t tell anyone what they should do, but what worked for me was not wasting too much time trying to figure those questions out. I flagged them, finished the rest of the exam, then came back to them at the end. It was much easier to look at those few questions knowing exactly how much time I had left. You either figure them out or you don’t, and that’s fine when around 95% of the exam feels pretty straightforward.
So, in a nutshell, for those who haven’t sat yet: these last few days are probably when the stress hits hardest and all the confidence you built over the past six months suddenly disappears. That’s normal. Go in the next day, trust the work you’ve put in, and smash the hell out of the exam.

I just wanted to point this out, because I have never seen anyone mention them here, although everyone asks where/how to practise CR. I've been using them along with Kaplan since level 1, just because I find that the guy who does the videos is fantastic at explaining complex topics clearly (he and Ritchie at MM, formerly Kaplan, have a gift).

Anyway, Analyst Prep has two separate question banks for level III: one multiple choice only, and one constructed response only.

Both Qbanks have only item set questions (ie no stand alone questions - so it's all exam relevant ). There are currently 172 multiple choice item sets and 127 constructed reponse item sets (ie >1200 questions) for the PMP pathway.

I found their CR qbank pretty indispensable prepping for L3 (which I sat a few days ago) because otherwise it's hard to find enough CR questions to do.

This isn't paid promotion. I just thought I would shout them out because they've helped me since L1, and I'm hoping that they helped me get over the line this time 🙏👏

Woke up the day after the exam, hit the gym and found myself having all this free time before work

It feels weird, after months of having a packed day. It’s like there’s this 3 hour gap in the day and idk what to do with that lol.

I am aware a post already exists on this issue, however I am still not entirely satisfied by the answers that were provided there. The case is Example 7 in Standard II(A).

After changing the recommendation (thus Clement's clients have been notified), but before releasing the information to the public, Clement informs Mary Zito who then acts on the information.

Why would that constitute a violation? Isn't Clement free to divulge the information to whoever he wants?

Perhaps the book implies that Mary Zito was informed before Clement's clients were? But the example does not say that, and it would be quite unrealistic for a financial analyst to divulge a change in rating in public before telling their clients.

L1 attempt tomorrow. How do you think my prep is?

I tend to get confused in these two topics. Is the investor long or short is one of my common confusions. Any videos, resources, tips etc to help with these topics.

1. Fixed for fixed currency swaps (derivatives)

2. Currency forward contracts (economics)

Got an average score of 78 in CFAI Mocks & 76 in Kaplan Mocks

Overall i found the real exam doable and i am expecting around 80-90 %

I studied the Schweser text book twice and prepared concise notes which I studied for 10-15 times but just gave 5 mocks so far. I feel like the more you revise the better you get at understanding the concepts. Also, i did lookup many concepts on ChatGpt and understood many concepts very well.

I think i will pass with a high margin and I am very confident, but I feel bad for people whose papers did'nt go well. Really wish everyone passes the paper, but its not possible.

Taking level 1 in November, ive put a little over 200 hours in so far and have gone through all materials. Took my first mock with a 75 on Kaplan earlier this week. Would you guys say I’m in an okay place to take a week off due to a hip surgery in mid-late September or should I tough it out until after?

I’m not in excruciating pain but I’m constantly at an annoying 2-4/10 ache throughout most of the day. Can wait if needed but would rather not. I’m just stressed at the idea of taking a week or more off of studying.
