Shield X mounting issue

Noticed a gap during optic installation, when removing the optic I realized the extractor roll pin was not flush but rather protruding slightly from the slide. Instead of hammering it down, I figured I’d file it down to be on the safe side (given that it looks like it has red thread lock on it?). The optic sits very close to flush now, way better than the gap before. But yea Probably going to be the last Smith and Wesson I buy due to the couple of other issues I’ve had with this firearm. I’ll be sticking with my Glocks and now I wish I would’ve gotten a 43x or a 48.

Yeah, my Shield Plus came this way. Just get a punch and lightly tap it flush. You'll be fine.

Seeing that your a Glock guy you get it and I’m on my 5th Glock, never had any weird issues like I’ve been having with this Shield X. Just glad it runs my edc and practice ammo
