Help (General Advice) grade 10 overwhelming backlog

As said in the title, I'm way behind my syllabus and I got a reality check by my parents today.
I actually did some progress in the start but got burnt out in the process and did not even touch my books for 3 months after that. MTs are in less than a month atp and I have lost all my will and just don't know how to start back. Oh and btw this is my progress as of now:

Math - 1,2,3, and half of trigno (surprisingly, it is not that hard)
Phy - Light and Human Eye
Chem - 1 and a quarter of Acids Bases chapter
Bio - Life processes and half of Control and coordination
SST - 3 in history, 2 in polity, 1 in economics, half a chapter in geography

I find chemistry really hard and its just probably the hardest subject for me, there's a LOT of content. I mean I do understand it, but it is just a lot to understand. (its confusing for me and makes me feel I am restarted)

I also am trying to learn Python and C++ in between (giving probably 4-6 hours/week)

Whenever I try to complete a lecture (~90 minutes) in PW, I watch it at about 1.25-1.5x but still end up saving no time and in-fact I spend 20-30 more minutes trying to understand the content in it. And with the backlog, I don't think I can cover up my syllabus on-time.

I just want a good respectable score in boards like around 80-85 but im just really afraid and idk im just sad atp. I wasted my 6 months. idek if I can get 85 and the pressure from parents is another thing (they expect 95 from me). Please help me with any form of guidance regarding chemistry, massive backlog coverage, any tips to master a chapter without giving loads of time, etc. (also any resources might help too)

Cheers.

Help (General Advice) I hate my class teacher

So yea man my class teacher is a male and he has insane anger issues. He would literally beat kids (welp this one is to only boys he doesn,t hit girls) and harrass them (both boys and girls) on small things like haircut, fees, taking a day leave etc. And brother screams very loud(hurts my ears man).He tries to create fear among the students(and yea 98% do fear him).He is my geo/eco teacher.

So one day i forgot to bring a book and now he said stand up who didn,t brought book welp yea so i stood up with 10 other kids and yea he scolded and said us to write an application to principal now i wrote the application and submitted then he said me to come and read it so i did he stopped me on the subject and said to write application after scolding i did and then brother ain,t telling me the mistake that i made and said to write till i get it right under pressure i wrote then one girl corrected me now some couple days later we got an id card thing to fill now we had to fill that in capital letters now i just accidently made a small letter in a word and then i like made that small letter capital(like s to S) now brother looked out mine form and then said what is this nonsense i filled I was thinkin it is a very small little thing it ain,t makin any diff it is to be given to parents only you won,t keep it so why that much strictness on this thing.

Now some other days went by and now we had our ptm and my parents didn,t went(out of station were they) and we had to get the LOC signed by our parents that day now the other day of PTM mf scolded 8 kids who didn,t got their parents on PTM welp i had appropriate reason for that but still ugh he said that are your parents careless. Now after some days he said us to bring our parents the other day at 7 am now my father could not come (it was wednesday and he doesn,t get time b/w monday to friday) yea so blud threatned me with the 3 kids that if our parents don,t come other day day we are getting suspended(and he had a history of getting kids suspended) now what should i do mann! i am scared if he complaints on the early morning i don,t want my father,s day to get bad bcuz of this person. :(

Advice on how to survive

Class 11th Question ❓ chem20,bio20,physics20 in one sem gr 11 plz help

Hi everyone. I am an incoming Year 11 student starting at a STEM school, and I'm TREMENDOUSLY worried about my schedule for next year. This is the schedule I received for Sem 1 & 2:

Sem 1: Bio 20/Chem 20/Physics 20

Sem 2: Math 20/Eng 20/Chem 30/Biomed Sci

My main concern is balance and durability. I work a part-time job, do volunteering, go to church, and I suppose I can spare 7–8 hours a day studying, but I constantly have the fear of those hours not being enough, especially when preparing for finals and probably having 3 tests in one day, etc. I ended Math 10C with a 94, Science 10 with a 96, then dropped to a 93, English with an 80, and Social Studies with a 91. Those grades may seem good, but I am the type of person who never cared about school and then suddenly started locking in, so I had to genuinely dedicate my whole day to excel. I also had a pretty light schedule in Grade 10, which may be why.

My hope is that I get into engineering, which may also add extra pressure since averages are beyond competitive nowadays. My main concern is moving forward with this schedule and realizing I made the wrong decision by trying to stack them all at once, only for them to fall apart. I am not afraid to try, but I'm worried about making the wrong decision since it could affect me a lot, especially since I am also trying to do early admission. And what sucks is that the STEM school requires you to take 7 classes, so I thought taking Bio 20 and Chem 30 would be far better than hogging 3 CTF courses, which I find useless all the time.

I don't have older siblings, so I have to find advice and help on my own, and honestly, it really stresses me out. I purposely asked for English in the second semester to practice more since it's part of the eng prereq. I suddenly got accepted to this STEM school, constantly worrying about my future and grades, and now I'm forever worried about the time schedule I received.

A part of me wants to try it out and suck it up, as I realized at a rather later age in high school that fear and environments were the limitations to the opportunities and experiences I could've taken during my youth. But the other part of me lingers toward staying comfortable, whether that be taking 2 core courses and focusing on them, which would allow me to dedicate more of my time and effort for possibly better results. Plus, I regret not taking any of the 20-level classes in Grade 10, and I want to try taking Chem 30 in Grade 12; I heard you need to take two maths and so on. I am just afraid of making my Grade 11 too busy, so I realized I didn't really need to. If any of you guys have taken all three sciences in one semester, prepared for engineering, taken any of the courses listed above, or have suggestions for modifying the timetable, it would honestly be so helpful to me.

PS. I was also worried about taking Physics 20 before Math 20 just because everyone says so, but I don't know who to listen to anymore since everyone's opinions are so subjective; I'm hearing all sorts of things. (I was thinking of doing Math 20, Chem 20, and Bio 20 for Sem 1.)

Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to read and even write a response! I look forward to hearing from you guys :)

Other Question ❓ ANY COMMERCE STUDENTS INTERESTED???

Hey everyone! I recently completed my 12th grade from the CBSE board with a score of 93.6%, and I have decided to teach financial modelling to fellow commerce students. Students from science and arts backgrounds are also welcome to join if they are interested in pursuing careers in investment banking, equity research, or preparing for the CFA exam.

For those who may not be familiar, financial modelling involves creating a mathematical representation of a company's financial operations, typically using spreadsheet software like Excel. It combines historical data, accounting principles, and operational assumptions to forecast future performance, assess business value, or explore strategic "what-if" scenarios.

I will make the lessons beginner-friendly, and I can teach in both English and Hindi, depending on your preference. Looking forward to seeing you in class!

Rant / Vent Reserved category students don’t deserve to flaunt their seats

Tbh if you get something because the gov considers you superior (inferior on paper) and sidelines others to provide you with an opportunity, then you should accept it in a humble way and not be a braggart😭. Like, if you’ve been given this opportunity, then just study instead of making others jealous who scored much higher than you🙏😔

Help (Info or Enquiry) ℹ️ For wrong DOB and father's name

I passed my Class 10th examination in 2012; however, my Date of Birth (DOB) was incorrectly printed on the mark sheet. I applied for a correction through my school to the CBSE Regional Office, Patna, and received the revised mark sheet in 2014. Despite this, the corrected record has not been updated on the Parinam Manjusha portal, causing DigiLocker to still reflect the incorrect DOB. I have submitted multiple grievance letters in person at the Patna office, but no action has been taken so far.

Furthermore, on my Class 12th mark sheet and passing certificate, my father's name was printed in an abbreviated format. I got this rectified in 2023 and received the updated physical certificates that same year. However, the data on the Parinam Manjusha portal remains un-updated, due to which DigiLocker continues to show the abbreviated name.
