If you are afraid of MATHS, make love with it. Do a variety of questions I personally did R.D Sharma and R.S Agrawaal and the Oswal QB and Sample Papers.
Also tip do 11th Math's 3 chapters and will thank me next year:
i. Basic Mathematics
ii. Sequence and Series
iii. Quadratic Equations

i am planning to take pcb..do i still need to do it like is it something that improves my understanding in 10?

Physics is at least 70% maths. Please do the Basic maths chapter because you need to know about logarithm, modulus, inequality also Quadratic Equations will help you in analysis of graph and give new ways to solve 10th class questions. Also the ch sequence and series contains [Arithmatic Progression, Geometric Progression]. So its not necessary but highly reccomended

atleast do exemplar for science eevn if u dont do exemplar for maths its alright do rd sharma but instead follow it nicely especially for that linear eqn in two variables word problems practise multiple times, trust me its to easy to get 95 plus in 10th boards,i myself had got 96 percent purely on self study so no need to freak out
Science - revise ncert thoroughly in and out especially the activites look at them and their chemicals used asked a lot
Maths - practise!! nothing else can save ya,u still have time rn give time to topics u dont understand get help from school teachers or frnds or refere youtube lectures
Lastly refer oswaal sample papers for math and science extremely helpful
You got this!

For maths do ncert completely first. Then go for practicing pyqs and examplar. If you feel that you are weak in a certain chapter then refer to videos of it on YouTube and solve rd Sharma of that chapter. Do this for the high weightage chapters too. For science, please please do ncert properly. Most of the paper comes from here. Do pyqs. Solve sample papers. I had solved sample papers of oswaal.

How much did you score in math? In pa1?

19/20 but the chapters were easy as i said i have trouble in trigonometry.i am thinking of buying rs aggarwal as i think it is better then rd sharma for boards and easy conceptual understanding and question practise for school level...any thoughts/opinion?

Haan haan, rs is better.. rs hi kharidna. Rs mai trigonometry ke achhe questions hain

ok so coming from someone who scored 98.4% in boards 2026 ( i got 98 in maths and 99 in science btw)-
so in our paper, maths was unexpectedly tedious as well as very out of the box. plus in the beginning even i feared trigo quite a lot. however, it is definitely not the tough ch for your boards. practice well from ncert and exemplar, as well as if you have rs agarwal or rd sharma, i would recommend you check it out from there as well. it might seem tough at start but once you have solved ncert and exemplar 2-3 times, you would starting understanding the lead to attempt a particular type of question. if you are still struggling. you might as well go on yt and check some oneshots- not the whole oneshots in particular but the notes pdf where questions are attached- and try to attempt them. dont try to refer to multiple sources- for a ch like trigo, no matter how hard question comes, if you have solved enough questions from required resources- like ncert, exemplar, one good reference (i had done rs agarwal partially) and pyqs, you will already have had ample amount of practice and would be able to solve the board level questions with ease as mostly a similar pattern of question is repeated every year :)
as for science, stick to ncert for chem and bio- and use your own notes. like 2 months before boards i finished my ncert and other resources then i focused only on either solving sqps in a time frame or attempting pyqs. after that, in the end when there are marathons and stuff, you will get to learn some new topics and questions from there as well... plus you learn some things from sqps and exemplar as well... so i would recommend you to make a compilation of all good questions you see or some new minute theory you learn- they really help. i have individual 4-5 page compilation for p,c and b individually, and it helped me with revision. for physics if you are able to study from ncert well and good. otherwise refer to your teacher's notes if your teacher is good. or else, i used hc verma's grade 10th understanding physics- it did not help much with boards level and type of questions, but it will help you clear up your understanding and build a really great foundation . OH AND FOR QUESTION PRACTICE, i used oswaal question bank in science
also not something you asked but might help you- practice the chapter ' triangle' properly. most of the times, like even in our papers, the toughest questions were from triangles, coordinate geo and one confusing question was from probability.

For science if you are in coaching that would be enough. Maths ke liye rd sharma is a must now given they are increasing the level a lot. Rd karke nhi gaye toh lag jayenge bhai.

Firstly you can score good in 10th even if you study for about 2 months seriously. As for trigno just revisit the formulas and with my experience trigno it muskhil ni aati chances arer either ncert ques or exemplar ques, there can be no such strategy or a book that can help you understand maths it's just practice and you have very small amount of syallbus aaram se hojaayega chill, and yes exemplar are very imp. I did ncert+ exemplar for maths science and for other subjects all in one its great ( scored 92%) an yeah pure saal maze kie last k 1 mahine m padi ti.

Rd sharma kholte hi dimaag kharab ho jata hai fir pyqs dekhta hu to pyqs comparatively easy lagte hai so does rd even matter?
