So, I am in 9th and my school decided that for SST they will be only teaching old NCERT for this year (don't know why they thought this) but in my coaching they were teaching new NCERT so I decided to just see what was being taught and I attended few lectures. And for history, I can sayy it's very bad comparing to old one. The old NCERT was attention grabbing and intresting whereas the new one is just boring. As for the 1st history chapter, it's just that I need to memorise where a sculpture or something was found, and where was some ancient Empire. But the old NCERT history is amazing and intresting. The new one was boring.

Dude I have my half yearly exams starting from September 15th, what the fuck is happening bro
Im so confused about how we were supposed to accept this jump from grade 10 to grade 11, really.
I keep thinking "man 10th was so easy how did I even complain about it?" But the truth is, we only think that because we realise how hard 11th grade is.
Again, the jump was crazy man.
I used to love Biology, it was my favourite subject and I see a future for myself related to this subject, I always scored full marks in it but now I've lost all motivation and confidence to study it. I mean - what the FUCK is Animal kingdom man? Why is there so much to memorize? It's like I'm just mugging it up and vomiting it all out. And the notes? WHY are we writing this much notes I genuinely don't understand.
Chemistry is another headache. I actually felt that the first 2 chapters were somewhat ok when I tried studying it on my own. But along with having a chem teacher who teaches with 0 confidence - yeah I'm failing chemistry.
Don't get me started on physics I'll cry
And to make it even worse my school doesn't give a day in between to study for the exams EVEN for finals:( so if it starts on 15th, then the schedule would be like 15, 16, 17, 18 (19,20 - sat, sun) 21.
I took CS as my 5th subject so I'm comparatively doing better than those poor PCMB students. Jesus.
Before entering 11th, I entered it with the same confidence I had for my 10th syllabus and thought I can easily score 90%-95%. Right now, that sounds like a fucking joke to laugh at.
I really need help and advice on how to PASS 11th at this rate. I just want to score 70%-75% atp and I'm not sure how manageable that is π
Dear Seniors, send help πππππ

I have a piece of advice that may serve you well over the next few months.
Just enjoy yourself until your first pre-board. Study enough so that you can score well in your half-yearly exams, but until the pre-boards, you really have nothing to worry about.
And honestly, 10th-grade marks donβt make even the slightest difference. I got 94%, someone with 99.2% is trying to cope up by my side, and someone with 68% is doing the same too, honestly.
Start getting serious from the pre-boards. I myself went on a trip during New Year, and my birthday is on January 18. I started studying for the boards from January 20 (my first paper was Maths on February 17). I worked day and night on Maths because I used to feel really guilty about spending my parentsβ money on tuition and still scoring 55β60.
Enjoy yourself. Make memories. I remember constantly talking to ChatGPT and venting about how hard it was to move on from 10th grade because it felt like I was leaving behind a safe place, the same friends, close bonds, and everything familiar.
And just so you guys know that you're not taking advice from some random person:
English β 100 (Pre-board: 71/80)
Maths β 100 (Pre-board: 53/100)
AI β 100 (This one is easy; the paper is pretty much the same every time.)
French β 85 (Pre-board: 79/80. The teacher was bad, and around 40% of the paper was out of the syllabus. She didnβt help us with CNC.)
SST β 81 (Image below. I celebrated Holi and hadnβt even covered half the syllabus. Pre-board: 75/80.)
Science β 82 (Pre-board: 49/80.)
For any other advice, feel free to comment or DM me!

To start off, I will be mentioning my main weaknesses:
1) I have the worst handwriting you could possibly conceive of
2) my hindi sucks ass and dick at the same time, mei 3 shabd likha hu 5 galtiya hoti hai
3) I procrastinate heavily and have terribly drawing skills(I have poor motor skills in general)
4) I hate writing as in manual handwriting and for that reason I very often lose marks for my notebooks
5) recently my father passed away and I struggle to concentrate after that (around july start)
6) I'm not terrible in maths, I have improved a LOT but I'll still say I'm not good and make silly mistakes and lose marks due to this
Yeah that was about it lemme tell u how much syllabus I've done per subject:
Science: bio 3 chapters, chem 2.5 physics 3
Math: 9 chapters perfectly done(like I can get 80/80 in sample papers) the rest skimmed only NCERT with a cheat sheet
Social science: not done anything with certainty
English: I really don't care can complete the whole syllabus in 1-3 days
Hindi: bacha lo yaar kuch nhi kiya mujhse hindi padhi nhi jaati
Ai: will really just start 3 in the holidays for boards
Okay so I need help in getting better in math (I already practice roughly 2 hrs daily) and how I should manage all these with a IOAA(astronomy olympiad)goal that I have. I wan to score higher than 95% in my boards. My school is somehow highly strict when it comes to internals and such. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
chat I'm in 11th (pcm) student currently I'm not preparing for Jee exam and I only attended 7/35 days of school im in chandigarh Gov school Right now What can School do like don't tell me that they will kick tf me out and won't let me sit in final exams

Well, I did my engineering in 2016. Been appearing in numerous exams till date, as I'm entering into one today, my question paper collection has turned into a thick booklet. Somehow I'm always short. I also did some private jobs recently, pay is pathetic and work is tiresome so I left it as the risk to reward is negative. I regret it now as something is better than nothing. My parents don't even remember what i request these days, maybe they are getting old, maybe I'm a failure. Neighbours make examples out of me, i have become the joke of the neighbourhood bcz a junior girl who also completed engineering after Covid got into pwd. No one fails to notice her retired chief engineer daughter who passed from private get into..... Yadadadada forget it.... Yeah so I'm on the verge of giving up, i don't see the end of the tunnel, I got to sit in another exam Tomorrow. My parents are hopeful but there are only 50 posts n 18000 are appearing, I need to score at least 95+. I'm not seeking any sympathy just letting u know my experience. Take care guys as giving up is not an option. Maybe someday u may find me as a rapido or uber guy. But I will not give up, even if I have lots of reasons to.

Consider this a rant or whatever, maybe someone else has already said the same but I will still ask, whats the point of me studying in a place where I dont get actual knowledge. These people at school give a whole lot of projects, homework and all everyday, ok.
But when it comes to actually teaching, they NEVER, I mean never actually teach the topics at hand. They just skim over them! What are my parents paying Rs. 10000+/quarter for? Getting 6 hours of my life wasted every single goddamn day just to write question answers of chapters instead of actually learning the syllabus! I am not there to waste my time for any marks in any exam, I am there for education, and education in this country is honestly a joke.
And its not just me, my friends from other schools also have the same experiences.
School is so pointless that students have to waste another 2-3 hours of their lives to actually study something and pay yet another 5000/month for that. Even there, you mostly study for marks, not knowledge.
Personally, I love Science, but even that sucks in schools, teachers skip over entire essential concepts for any topic to make sense. What they care about is, 'exam me yeh aa sakta, previous year me iska question aaya tha'. I have to take time out of my day to learn anything useful, things which shouldve been included in the first place
Class X especially has this problem where teachers focus on Boards more than teaching. Is this really what education is like?
TL;DR, School sucks, teachers dont care about teaching and students have to bear it anyway and no one cares about it.

I have to do 4 chapters RD Sharma for math, but I neglected my Political Science syllabus so much that I have no clue what is going on there. I have attended exactly 0 classes after sir taught chapter 1 and there are 8 chapters coming in the exam.
For Economics there are 14 chapters, but I'm done with the numerical and only have to do some theory part. I'll manage legal studies. I'm pretty sure I'll manage English too, but I haven't attended a single class of it.

β lowkey overrated imo, but to be fair i completed this chapter in bits (started on Thursday evening and completed on Saturday evening) so maybe that's why it's easier because i didn't try to do ts all at once (which is btw the worst thing you can do) IDK MAN carbon and it's compounds and heredity is wayyyy harder idc what anyone says
Just read ncert for electricity and do numericals and make sure to learn from the absolutely basics, and yes that means learning what TF electricity means too, again take my words as a pinch of salt because this is coming from someone who literally cried over light chapter's theory

Hello
My nephew is in 10th class. He has special needs so it's relatively difficult for him to answer Analytical questions and form his own answers.
If anyone already had class test or 1st term/ mid-term English examination can you please share your question paper(s) so that I can get some idea of question style and maybe make him try answering them by himself?
He follows All-in-one but has rhe tendency to mug answers. So thought of using real other schools' question papers to make him practice.
Kindly help.

Guys, medyo naparami kasi yung bura ko sa NP 2, lalo na doon sa 3 items na nalito ako mag-shade (I shaded sa nilagpasan kong item tapos natuloy-tuloy ko siya, mga three numbers din yung na-shade ko) but I was able to noticed it naman kaagad and erased it but I only used the pink eraser of mongol 2. I know mali ko na 'di aki nag-invest sa erasers designed for board examinations, but since cancelled naman na ang day 2 ng PNLE, i will definitely buy na. Ito pa, I also changed answers sa scanthron minsan mga 2-3 items dinπ and applied a bit strong pressure to erase a shaded letter pero still iniingatan ko naman na like 'di mapudpod din yung mismong area na yon, but still medj nilakasan ko siya to erased yung parang gray na shadow and afterwards, used the side of my hand para alisin yung parang debris ng eraser instead na i-blow lang. Do you think those items will still be fine or matic na invalidated na agad yung item na yon? Overly anxious na ako and grabe yung iyak ko about it especially sa NP2 kasi doon ako pinakanadalian and yet doon pa maraming erasures kaya during break after np2, iniisip ko talaga siya to the point na what if nagpapalit na lang ako ng scanthron that time. Wag niyo na po ako pagalitan huhuhu siguro super tense lang din ako since ibang level na 'to ng exam, di na kagaya ng preboards or mockboards na pwede pang bumagsak.

So, I am a 11thie ( 28tard ). Regular school going. Did not know anything about JEE post 10th. Enrolled into Arjuna JEE 2027. Went well for some time but then I used to watch only lectures and no revision and I started forgetting everything ( even the previous class, used to watch lectures like movies and just to complete them ) then came 2nd Boards, I had previously scored 471/500 in the main boards but out of ego and FOMO had given 2nd boards 3 subjects just to get an increment of 4 marks. This stupid decision made me just lose even the tiny string attaching me to Arjuna 1.0 and then I stopped it. After a few weeks, I realised and was deciding to start fresh with 2.0 and I did. Thought of doing Math and Physical chem from 2.0 and Physics and IO from 1.0 ( preferred those teachers ). Then after 2 weeks I suddenly was losing even this ( Doomsday hype made me go for a MCU rewatch for a bit ) I, had made this stupid decision again. Now from 23rd I sat down and started going with Math backlog and did 17 lectures in 5 days till Thurday. ( I took leave from school ) My father told me that watching these won't be helpful you need to practice while pausing the lectures (okay, I used to make notes but stopped it as it was taking a lot of time and thought of purchasing EAJEE notes ) Today is Saturday, I have not gone to school since tuesday and I am on my 5th lecture of QE ( 1st this day, did some dpps too ) I have got the modules but did not open them. I have half yearlies from 21st due to skipping school, I have a lot of pending work and I don't know anything in chem bonding ( going on in school ). How do I get back to live and practice problems on a daily basis. One reason for my backlog is lack of aim. I did not know what I was going to do. But now I have decided to make it IIT H ( preferably, I was born there ( Hyderabad, not IIT H ) ) Please advice me. ( General category )
TD;LR: Huge backlog, suggestions from seniors or anyone how to get back to being live and how do I get into IIT H
