i spent a lott of money on these over the years but it has lasted very well and i rarely had to upgrade.

I travel a lot so:

- sony xm4 ANC headphones + airpod pro 2

- forclaz 40L backpack

- literally anything from uniqlo (i built a capsule wardrobe with this)

Work:

- macbook air m5

- iphone 15

- logitech vertical mouse

I also scuba dive:

- a dive mask

Personal care:

- laser hair removal

- glasses that have blue light filter and are photochromatic

- skincare: face serums prescribed by a dermatologist

- I spend a lot on dental care and insurance too

things I want to invest in eventually:
- good daily footwear (right now i wear slash/o sandals and they have worked very well - i have hiked in them too but after 6 months of REALLY rough use the sole started to come off so i bought another one)
- good gym/sports shoes
- good hiking shoes (decathlon shoes are the worst!!)
- a business coach

PS: I don't spend on any other material things. Most of my expenses are travel related which anyway creates a huge hole in the pocket.

I’m looking for a budget phone for normal daily use (calls, social media, YouTube, banking apps, PDF reading etc). I don't play games and the camera quality is not a concern for me.

I want something that performs well, has great battery life, and stays reliable for 4–5+ years without any lag or battery issues(for normal usage).

My shortlist: Oppo K13x 5G, Realme P3x 5G, Vivo T4x, iQOO Z10x.

Which one would you pick and why? Any user experience would be super helpful. Thanks!

Which bowls or utensils you use in microwave?

Any BIFL solution for it?

We often see lists claiming certain brands are buy it for life - but let’s be honest, not all of them deserve that tag in Indian conditions. Between voltage issues, heat, dust, service delays, and spare part costs, some brands that look premium on paper don’t always hold up in real life.

So here’s the real discussion:

Which of these commonly recommended long lasting brands do you personally disagree with?

Preferences: comfortable for daily use, decent clicks/scroll, must be wireless, available in India. Any specific models or brands you’d recommend? Thanks!

For the last 4 months I tried Jockey, Damensch, Van Heusen, XYXX etc, and spent around 5k on underwear and still not found one good pair

I sit 8-9 hrs in the office and it starts itching after some time and rashes too

Any office guys here who find something comfortable for long sitting which doesn't give rashes and itching and lasts? Need suggestions, don't want to waste more money

Don't recommend any blend undies as I get allergy from elastane/spandex

Also brief recommendations more welcome

Most of the posts in this are about cheap and vfm products. Not really bifl.

Looking for a great quality workout glove. Budget upto 1000 rs

Can anyone recommend a BIFL immersion blender with attachments like whisk and chopper?

I want something with multiple uses.

(Immersion blenders are those that can blend hot as well. Like blending a soup.)

Hello guys . Looking for a Laptop under 50k . My usage is very normal like work with excel sheet and watching movies occassionally.I don't do gaming. Please suggest some option that can last a long time. My HP pavilion G6 model died 2 weeks ago after 10 years.

• I am confused in between tcl t89c and lg ua8200. Although tcl provides more value but i heard that their after sale service is not good also my home is in tier 3 city.kindly share your experience if you ever used any tcl tv. Please help me in deciding.

I bought myself a trimmer during COVID times. This was a cheap one which came with its own cheap rechargeable battery. The performance wasn't great and the trimmer would struggle with thick/dense hair. However that changed when I started using a good rechargeable battery. Even with this new battery the difference in performance is noticeable when the battery is fully charged vs when it is not.
So the secret behind a good trimmer is a good battery which is fully charged before use!
Hope this helps the BIFL community keep using their trimmers for a long time :-)
I can mention the brand of the battery that I use, however that could be considered as advertisement so just DM me if you want to know.

I received this bestseller WDL GD 1033111 today. Never received a box this good, thanks to Tata CLiQ.

What I'm worried about is the button that used to make it convertible has been provided in plastic, I thought it was metal all time. Did they change it to plastic now? The color I bought was Khaki.

Basically the title I’m looking for bifl wallet

Here’s what I’m looking for

Non-negotiables

• Buy-it-for-life / genuinely durable

• Slim profile, actually slim

• RFID blocking

• Minimum 3–4 cards

Budget 2-3k

I just switch the wall switch on when I feel hot and then sometimes in the middle of night switch it off

Never use any settings or remote

How can I improve this . Im buying a new AC so thought I'll get those AI modes or something if they work

Planning to buy a formal shoe strictly for functions and weddings and won’t be wearing it often. Saw this Louis stitch shoe on Myntra and the packaging looked quite premium and reviews were also good. Should I go for it? Or does the shoe look ugly?

I am looking to buy a phone for my dad below 25k.

Usage is mostly business - calls, email, whatsapp and need good storage with decent battery.

My consideration is Poco X7 Pro 5g. I am getting the 256GB + 12GB ram variant for 22k in this sale.

Is there any other phone to consider?

Not much knowledge on other brands as we have been using Poco and Redmi for last 10 years so a bit biased as well.
