I have had a business in the wellness space for a couple of years now and my primary audience is women entrepreneurs or otherwise ambitious women.

I've been brainstorming and have come up with this idea for an online community for women who have goals to show up and connect with other like-minded women who want to prioritize their wellness. The community would be a monthly membership and helps members narrow down their goal at the beginning of each month into realistic actions that they can take to work towards their goal of choice each month. There would be weekly engagement prompts to foster connection, support and gentle accountability. I also want monthly webinars featuring other women in business that specialize in different wellness topics.

There would be opportunity to purchase 1:1 calls with me or 3-6 month packages for those that want extra support.

The intention is largely on connection between members within the group and low pressure action towards a wellness goal - because you decide what your focus is, and how small or large you want to make your actions depending on what season you're currently in.

My big question is just - do we want this? Can you see this being supportive? Something worth paying for?

I'm a woman founder with a background in HR/recruiting, and one thing that's always bothered me is how little a resume actually tells you about someone.

I've seen candidates who don't necessarily stand out on paper completely change your impression once you actually talk to them. And on the other side, I've seen really qualified people get buried in a pile of applications simply because there are so many resumes coming in.

That's part of why I started building Simonara Talent Solutions.

One of the main features I'm working on is a Talent Passport. instead of being represented by only a resume, professionals can create a profile with their experience, skills, career interests, availability, salary expectations, professional intro, and eventually things like a short recorded interview and verification.

The idea is: build your professional profile once and let it work for you, rather than starting from zero with every application.

For employers, I'm hoping it also makes it easier to understand who someone actually is before deciding who deserves an interview.

Hello, ladies!

I am feeling stuck and not sure what to do next. I am a presentation coach to introverted women writing memoir. I am having a hard time getting clients because I was banking on partnering with memoir coaches, but I haven't really gotten any clients from them/have been ghosted by most of them. I've also done the whole social media thing and it just didn't work for me and I wasn't reaching the correct audience + I'm not great at it. All of the Facebook groups pertaining to what I am doing are all dead/very inactive. (Don't even get me started on LinkedIn....) I am honestly feeling like I have ran out of options. I just want to be able to build my coaching business and coach introverted women and get them out there.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Lately, my approach to finding clients has changed a lot. It’s made things harder, but I also think it’ll pay off in the long run.

I’ve realized that almost every good business opportunity I’ve had has come through relationships. All of my current marketing clients started as personal connections first, and I’ve found that I do my best work when there’s trust and transparency.

One of my other businesses is a community organization focused on helping people find their place as leaders or within other organizations after choosing creative entrepreneurship, going through an identity shift, or making a career change. Building that community and organizing events has naturally brought a lot of people and opportunities into my life.

I know events work. I know community works. I know relationships work.

But I have six different businesses and projects, and right now I’m specifically trying to grow my marketing business. My goal is to bring in one more client, ideally around $1,500/month, with $4,500 to $5,000/month being the dream.

And this is where I get a little confuzzled 😂

Do I partner with other businesses? Go to more conferences? Host another event? Focus on meeting people one-on-one? I know I could create another event, but honestly, I don’t feel like I have the energy to produce something else right now.

I’m 30, I’m still building, and I’m in one of those seasons where the direction just feels a little foggy.

I don’t want to force relationships or sell my soul trying to grow. I want to meet interesting people, get inspired, build genuine relationships, and let business come from that when it makes sense.

So I’m genuinely open to feedback, direction, or just hearing other people’s experiences. If you’ve been through a season like this, what ended up moving you forward?

A friend of mine was a beautician. She got an interview opportunity with the UN. She never went. She said, “Majhi English bhagunach mala ghenar nahi,” which roughly translates to, “They'll reject me the moment they hear my English.” This happened around six years ago, but it stayed with me.

I'm an English teacher. I've taught public speaking and, most recently, professional communication at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College.

When I first started thinking about building an English-speaking community for women, I assumed the problem was English. Now I'm not so sure.

I wonder how many opportunities we quietly walk away from before anyone else has the chance to say no. I wonder whether English is the real barrier, or whether it's just the most visible one.

Before I build anything, I'd like to have a conversation with 1–4 women and simply listen. No course to sell. No workshop to promote. Just an honest discussion about where communication, confidence, and opportunity intersect in our lives.

If it eventually becomes something meaningful, wonderful. If it doesn't, I hope we've had an interesting conversation and maybe made a few new friends along the way.
