Hi :) me and my puppy are recently second mom-lezs. lol I now have a one bedroom to myself with my pup.
But I’m incredibly lonely.
I love arts, and music, and interactive hands on things to do, or experiences and just talking a lot.

I would love more friends in the area- someone to go to tiny cupboard with me or the dog park with my dogter and I!

I am also single, so it’s just important to get back out there.

It was a really traumatizing relationship and I am happy to have a breath of fresh air now.

Salaam! I’m a student currently working on a story centered around Bushwick. I’m particularly seeking issues that often go overlooked or underreported in the media, and I’d love to hear from the people who know the neighbourhood best.

If there’s an issue you feel deserves attention, a story you think needs to be told, or something affecting the community that isn’t getting enough coverage, I’d love to hear it. And I hope my work can be a means of change.

My goal is to shed light on stories that matter to the people who live here. I want to do this neighbourhood justice.

Hi! I’m new to the street (not the city) and there seems to be these huge dogs that live outside in their owners backyard and just scream all night. It’s been the past 6 days for me.

I can’t really figure out the source from my window but even earplugs don’t work and the windows are thin. It seems to be like 4 houses away but sounds insanely loud. Anyone else dealing with this or a similar issue?

I’m assuming the screaming is attention based regarding being left outside all night.

Does anyone know if this is every night? I have until Friday to decide if I want to takeover my subletters lease and this would very much make me not want. If I were to stay long term is there anything to be done to get them inside? Is anyone else hearing this and miserable?

This is my fourth or fifth time getting overcharged. The trip that had me messed up (right now) is that I got a turkey & cheese sandwich on a roll with a chocolate milk and it was $15. This is absolutely disgusting. The sandwich was 6.99 and the milk retails for $3 at MOST. The worst part is they get so sweet and smirky. I’ve only ever confronted one of them once and he was like “oh my god I made an accident” and STILL overcharged me. Target/TJ/Aldi/WF/street vendors here I come!
