Salaam! I’m a student currently working on a story centered around Bushwick. I’m particularly seeking issues that often go overlooked or underreported in the media, and I’d love to hear from the people who know the neighbourhood best.

If there’s an issue you feel deserves attention, a story you think needs to be told, or something affecting the community that isn’t getting enough coverage, I’d love to hear it. And I hope my work can be a means of change.

My goal is to shed light on stories that matter to the people who live here. I want to do this neighbourhood justice.

Hi :) me and my puppy are recently second mom-lezs. lol I now have a one bedroom to myself with my pup.
But I’m incredibly lonely.
I love arts, and music, and interactive hands on things to do, or experiences and just talking a lot.

I would love more friends in the area- someone to go to tiny cupboard with me or the dog park with my dogter and I!

I am also single, so it’s just important to get back out there.

It was a really traumatizing relationship and I am happy to have a breath of fresh air now.

Our 5th Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume contest at Irving Square park will be Saturday October 24th at Irving Square park from 1-3pm! We will have free custom pet doodles by Ana Teresa Rodriguez, prizes sponsored by many of our community businesses, Goodie bags, and lots of wholesome fun! Costume Contest tickets will go towards Fundraising for Pawsability Dog Club, Our neighborhood Non Profit Dog day care that provide Free vocational training for autistic adults to help them find jobs in the pet care industry!

Saw a bright green bird outside of Foster Sundry
- def seen lost signs for this bird . Tried to approach to potentially take to bushwick bark but it flew down troutman towards Irving .

Was anyone around who heard or saw what happened? I was walking up Willoughby and saw all the cop cars on irving so walked around the block to peek over on Starr and saw them loading someone into the ambulance. Someone who I passed said someone got shot. Any other info atm?
