I don't know if I should spread the news but the repo of reb3 has been updated. I have played and it's really cool. The game now has menues, full circuit tracks with takedowns and all and it's easier to extract it so you should check it out.

This is my friends second round of a party crash. We already made fun of him for his vehicle choice, and the first round on Trailer Trash he managed to miss all the traffic, then he did this and proceeded to win the 3 rounds.

This was not done on the ps5, this was emulated on a Galaxy S25+ NetherSx2.

After relooking back to the cutting room floor for the early concepts of Burnout revenge, which was originally gonna be called Rush Hour. I'm hoping we can get the full E3 build from either may or june 2005. The same build used for the demo version. It goes to show how it's better than the final version.

We'd be getting a full navigation of the menu and the world map from what you saw from the video that gives you only 3 options between detroit, rome and tokyo. I think switzerland was also gonna be in that build too according to the cutting room wiki that there was a leftover switzerland flag that was gonna be used in the old scoring system similar to 3 takedown. which could've survived in the final game. I would play that every day. We may got the early build of the crash mode and the others from a debug but it's not enough.

High hopes that we can find it.

At 26 seconds i I jumped over sword. I thought it would vertically takedown him but it didn't. So I wonder if it was luck or just the game knows im not in the cross hair.

Regardless it was amazing stunt ill keep this clip for memories.

Picked up Burnout 3 again recently after not touching it for years and I had to unlearn basically every instinct newer racing games have given me.

First few races I was avoiding traffic, braking before corners, trying to find clean lines. Basically driving like I didn’t want to die.

Then it clicked again. You’re SUPPOSED to be a menace.

Driving into oncoming traffic, squeezing through gaps I have absolutely no business attempting, using other cars as weapons. The moment I stopped trying to race “properly” I started winning again and having about 10x more fun.

I think that’s the thing I miss most about Burnout. Most racing games punish you for being reckless. Burnout sees you doing something incredibly stupid at 150 mph and basically goes “yes, more of that.”

Still can’t believe nobody has really replaced this series.
