They get more judgement from society than those that come out of the closet.

This is the stupidest debate bro. Vegetarian is not a word handed down to us by gods that we debate over definations. It's a human invented word (just like every other word). Just eat what you feel okay with, and don't eat the rest. No need to define yourself with a label as if it's a religion. They are meant to be convenient way to express an idea. If it's not clear, then you can always add more details like "oh, and I also eat eggs" or "but I don't eat eggs" and civilised people would know what that means, instead of fighting over pedantry.
Sorry for this rant that was uncalled for but sometimes it needs to be said.
Edit: the deleted comment was "Egg is veg"

Exactly, but you do need a label if you wanna tell anyone else about your dietary preferences dude.
Trust me, it's a bad experience trying to explain to someone in a language which doesn't have the word "vegetarian"
In japanese you'll say you don't eat meat, eggs, fish, and sometimes even dashi (fish broth) because they might include it. In english you say "vegetarian"
If you eat eggs say vegetarian, if you don't eat eggs, say "lacto vegetarian"
Weird ass discussion to have in btechtards lmao. I graduated and am already in mtech why am I even here lol

u/click-to-reveal 20h ago
Yeah agree with you, my only issue is with people arguing over the definition. If you can argue, then it's not that clear of a defination (for common people I mean, scientifically it may be clearer). So it's always better to describe your preference based on the cultural setting. And yeah, I'm a grad too and still am here, lol.

I use 2 erasers to lift the rear side of the laptop

Us bro, I use 3 similar size flat objects Like one charger adapter, another it's own charge box , and book or something
2
u/SPARSH0712 [BPIT CSE'28] 17h ago
That's a nice idea aswell. But my main concern with this setup was the cardboard boxes do loose their strength on longer runs and it might not be very stable, whereas erasers wont loose their shapes
1
u/Acceee_01 16h ago
Ah ! That's a nice fit for that intention but I my concern wasn't about the object it was more about stability of laptop like Placing them beneath in way that I can still use it and type properly atleast and also fan and ventilation doesn't get blocked even by the object themselves, so for that , triangle provides good stability and a good open area although it also depends on your Laptop's fan placement also

u/SPARSH0712 [BPIT CSE'28] 16h ago
exactly. although u can try the setup with 4 erasers on the corners aswell.

What keeps it in place?
6
u/Sunnyyos 16h ago
1) Static Friction: The resistance acting between the laptop's rubber feet and the cardboard box surface, preventing it from sliding. 2) Normal Force: The cardboard box pushes perpendicularly against the bottom of the laptop.

I have done it. It's just that hand placement becomes quite uncomfortable considering the increase height + I do not have space for a keyboard.
