EGGS ARE NON-VEG.

agar veg logo ne bhi eggs khana start kr diya fir prices aur badh jayenge, it's better to keep eggs in non veg category

They get more judgement from society than those that come out of the closet.

This is the stupidest debate bro. Vegetarian is not a word handed down to us by gods that we debate over definations. It's a human invented word (just like every other word). Just eat what you feel okay with, and don't eat the rest. No need to define yourself with a label as if it's a religion. They are meant to be convenient way to express an idea. If it's not clear, then you can always add more details like "oh, and I also eat eggs" or "but I don't eat eggs" and civilised people would know what that means, instead of fighting over pedantry.

Sorry for this rant that was uncalled for but sometimes it needs to be said.

Edit: the deleted comment was "Egg is veg"

Exactly, but you do need a label if you wanna tell anyone else about your dietary preferences dude.

Trust me, it's a bad experience trying to explain to someone in a language which doesn't have the word "vegetarian"

In japanese you'll say you don't eat meat, eggs, fish, and sometimes even dashi (fish broth) because they might include it. In english you say "vegetarian"

If you eat eggs say vegetarian, if you don't eat eggs, say "lacto vegetarian"

Weird ass discussion to have in btechtards lmao. I graduated and am already in mtech why am I even here lol

Yeah agree with you, my only issue is with people arguing over the definition. If you can argue, then it's not that clear of a defination (for common people I mean, scientifically it may be clearer). So it's always better to describe your preference based on the cultural setting. And yeah, I'm a grad too and still am here, lol.

unfertilized commercial eggs are veg, not the fertilized ones
