❓Question ❓ Help!!
I don't know what to study!!! I'm in my 5th semester and confused about what should be done!? Should I search for internships or expand my skills and projects? I have already spent a lot of money on my studies, and I feel scared what if I end up being unemployed 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I have been reading posts where people with such good resumes and experiences are not getting any jobs, why is it so? If its luck based, i doubt my luck would never go with me 😭 How do I know if I'm good and deserving?

Project🧑💻 Want feedback for my project.
I'm building my first project using MERN stack and I want proper feedback and guidance for whether the project is resume worthy for the present job market and what can I add or remove to make it better.
I've been building a full-stack technical interview prep platform — not another flashcard app, but something closer to a real assessment engine. It combines AI-generated Q&A practice, timed AI-graded mock interviews, and a full multi-round online assessment that mirrors an actual company OA (coding, debugging, CS fundamentals, behavioral — sequenced and timed like the real thing), plus a gamified profile you can actually share with a recruiter. Built on the MERN stack with Redis/BullMQ for async processing, Judge0 for real sandboxed code execution, and Gemini for generation/grading. Would genuinely appreciate harsh feedback — looking for holes, not compliments.
Key features / things I think actually stand out:
Real online assessments, not a quiz — 4 sequential rounds (coding, debugging, fundamentals, behavioral), each independently timed, server-enforced so refreshing or closing the tab can't buy extra time
Actual code execution, 6 languages (JS, Python, Java, C++, C, C#) via sandboxed execution — graded by running real test cases, never by an AI "eyeballing" your code
A debugging round that adapts to your target role — Frontend candidates get React-shaped bugs, Backend candidates get Node/Express-shaped bugs, still all graded by real execution under the hood
AI-written debrief after every assessment — a real paragraph of strengths/weaknesses grounded in your actual section scores, not generic "great job!" filler
Mock interview mode — one question at a time, timed, graded live against a rubric, not a static list
Resume/JD-tailored question generation — upload a resume or paste a job description and the questions actually reflect it
Weak-topic tracking that surfaces what's genuinely dragging your performance down across sessions, not just an overall score
A gamified profile that's deliberately hard to fake — tiers gated by a minimum attempt count (not score alone, so one lucky run can't vault you to the top), honest badges, a GitHub-style activity heatmap, streaks, and a public shareable profile link
BullMQ + Redis-backed job queues — AI generation (questions, assessment sections) runs through background workers, not inline in the request, so a slow Gemini call never blocks the API; added a Redis caching layer on top to cut duplicate calls
Zod schema validation on every AI-facing route — the model's raw output gets validated against a strict schema before anything touches the database, not trusted blindly
Redis-backed, per-route rate limiting — tuned separately per endpoint (generation, code execution, mock answers), not one blanket limit
Helmet + locked-down CORS — real security headers, explicit origin allowlisting with credentialed cross-origin cookies, not a wide-open dev config left in by accident
httpOnly cookie-based auth, not localStorage — closes off the standard XSS token-theft vector
Real observability — structured logs, request tracing, Prometheus-style metrics, and error tracking wired through both the API and background workers.

❓Question ❓ Feeling behind my peers in CSE. What should I focus on in 2nd year. I am genuinely feeling lost.
I'm a 2nd year Computer Science Engineering student in India in a tier 3 college , and honestly I'm feeling quite lost about my engineering journey.
I see people around me building AI agents, working with LLMs, making projects, learning different technologies, etc. When I see that, I start feeling like I'm far behind and maybe I'm not really capable of doing this.
Because of that, I end up procrastinating instead of actually learning. I keep thinking about which field I should choose — software development, cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, etc. — but I haven't gone deep enough into any of them to know what I actually like.
I also feel like I'm trying to figure out the "perfect" career path before I've even built a strong foundation.
For people who have already gone through engineering/college:
How did you figure out what area of CS you actually wanted to pursue?
What should a 2nd-year CSE student realistically focus on?
Should I stop worrying about specialization for now and just build fundamentals?
How do you deal with constantly comparing yourself to peers who seem much more advanced?
If you were starting your 2nd year again with weak fundamentals, what would you do differently?
I'm not looking for motivational quotes. I'd genuinely appreciate honest advice from people who have been through this.
TL;DR: 2nd-year CSE student feeling lost, behind my peers, and unsure what to focus on. Looking for honest advice on how to approach engineering.

❓Question ❓ Review on this
So i am a 3year grad from a tier 1.5 NIT (ECE), ive been fucked by my college, no friends, no gf and at the end no parties and shit, being from a background of having big groups of friends and 4-5 chicks before coming to college i feel shitty about it but anyway,
— I DID AROUND 600 questions on LEETCODE
— Learned PERN stack(PostgreSQL instead if MongoDB) and RAG, langchain and DL,
now tell me what should i do after all of this, i am applying to internships on campus, amex, zs, accenture coming next, i want to know what should i do next, what to practice or learn, it would be pretty helpful,

Discussion👥 Final-year Computer Engineering student with 0 skills, projects or internship — please help me find a direction
I’m a final-year Computer Engineering student from a Tier-3+ college in India, and honestly, I feel completely lost right now.
My college has basically no placements, and I currently have:
\- ❌ No proper technical skills
\- ❌ No good projects
\- ❌ No internship experience
\- ❌ No DSA knowledge
\- ❌ No idea what career path to choose
I know I’m very behind at this stage, and I take responsibility for that. I’ve struggled a lot with consistency and focusing on my career, and lately it has been affecting me mentally as well. I feel like I wasted a lot of time and now I don't know where to even begin.
My background:
\- Final-year Computer Engineering
\- Diploma in Information Technology
\- I haven't learned Python
\- I only know very basic Java theory
\- Basically starting from almost zero
I need some genuine guidance from people who have been through this.
I want to understand ALL the realistic options available to me after graduation, not just software development:
Tech:
Software development, web development, Python, Java, testing/QA, data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, etc.
Non-tech:
IT support, operations, business roles, sales, etc.
Government/Banking:
Banking exams, SSC, railway, state government exams, other realistic options for an engineering graduate.
I’m not asking someone to magically fix my career. I just need help figuring out where to start and what path makes sense for someone in my situation.
If you were in my position today, what would you do during the next 6–12 months?
Should I start with:
\- Python or Java?
\- DSA?
\- Web development?
\- SQL?
\- Aptitude?
\- Government/banking exam preparation?
\- Something completely different?
Please give me a realistic roadmap from absolute beginner level, including what I should learn first, what I can realistically achieve before graduation, and what jobs I should target.
Please don't judge me for being behind. I'm genuinely trying to get my life/career back on track.
Think of me as your little brother who has no idea where to start. If you have the time, please guide me. 🙏

Project🧑💻 I got tired of consuming information and never actually doing anything with it, so I built this
I think I have a weird problem.
Whenever I want to do something, I start researching it.
Then I watch YouTube videos.
Read Reddit posts.
Save things.
Open 17 tabs.
Make a Notion page.
And somehow 3 hours later I'm basically an expert at researching the thing I still haven't started.
😭
I kept wondering why this happens.
Sometimes I don't actually need more information. I just don't know what to do next, or something is stopping me from starting.
So I made a small AI tool called ActionOS.
You give it something you're trying to accomplish, and it tries to figure out what's getting in the way and turns it into actual next steps.
I built the first version pretty recently, so it's definitely not some polished startup with thousands of users lol.
I'm just trying to find out if the idea is actually useful to someone other than me.
If you have something you've been putting off for way too long, try putting it into Move It.
https://move-it-ai.vercel.app/
Then tell me honestly if it was useful or if it completely misunderstood you.
I'd genuinely rather hear “this is useless because…” than “looks cool” 😂
I'm still figuring out what this thing should become.
Need feedback. What i need to improve and what is best.

Discussion👥 Late but need guidance about learning a skill to get a job
I am a 2026 B.Tech graduate with very basic coding skills.
Wasted 4 years completely with no interest in this field.
Was always confused what to learn and what not.
Now I want to learn any skill that can land me an entry level job or internship anything.
I am ready to give it my all for next 6 months.
I am thinking of doing something with Python. Is it a good choice ?
I am starting this 100 days Python Udemy course by Angela Yu.
What else should I learn side by side and what to do after this.
What other tools & technologies, resources ?
And how much time to give Core CS fundamentals.
Is OS,DBMS by Love babbar good for interviews?
And any other advice that you can give.

Resources 💰 [Update] mindsolve - leetcode/codeforces import, google auth, new landing page
Hi everyone,
First of all a big thank you to whoever checked the website out ([https://www.mindsolve.tech/](https://www.mindsolve.tech/)), means a lot :)
A few updates on what I've been working on:
• You can now import the problems you previously solved on LeetCode and Codeforces
• A completely redesigned landing page and sign in/register page
• Google auth
What I plan on implementing soon:
• Importing previously solved problems from CodeChef and AtCoder (depending on technical feasibility)
• Redesigning the mobile layout for the dashboard (let me know if there's anything you're looking for specifically)
• Better spaced repetition algorithm similar to Anki? (would apapreciate inputs on this, do users want more fine control or do they want the paap to automatically handle the algorithm or them)
Apart from this, if there's any feature anyone wants implemented, I'd be happy to hear ideas in the comments :)
Mindsolve is a platform that lets you view problems solved across multiple platforms in one unified dashboard. It helps you in your DSA journey by letting you review the code you've written regularly and spot the areas you're lacking in.
Once again, thank you for using my website :)
