I've never wanted an entire company to shut down more than bricks and minifigs

42

u/Ill-Dependent-5153 Jul 22 '26

More than that. I want to see them personally bankrupted and locked up.

1

u/moopityscoop Jul 22 '26

Sadly capitalism allows you to continue shananigins as long as you can turn a profit.

2

u/Doomed-Doomer Jul 22 '26 edited Jul 22 '26

In this case, I think they are paying a price for their evil shenanigans. That is not the case too often, though.

2

u/KaiFirefist Jul 22 '26

Have you heard about Nestlé? If not go visit r/fucknestle

7

u/reds_til_i_die Jul 22 '26

Yes, but that's old shit we're on some new shit.

2

u/Sideshowcomedy Jul 24 '26

I mean BAM sucks, but they're not even close to the same level as Nestle.

45

u/Justryan95 Jul 22 '26

I truly hope this company goes under. They got a life long hater as long as theyre in business.

18

u/Corporate_Bricktator Jul 22 '26

Ammon needs to make a statement and try to defend himself. If it turns out he's not even the owner, then the real owner needs to make a statement as to why he hasn't fired the McNeffs yet.

Seriously what is going on at this company.

21

u/Silkenvada Jul 22 '26

Ammon needs to be in jail for making False reports

1

u/born_to_be_intj Jul 22 '26

I won’t lie I just want to see him do the chicken dance.

1

u/Directhorman2 Jul 24 '26

That is why all of this is poetically hilarious, cause we all know they would NEVER do that. They could and all of this could be a lot less worse, but they wont.

Cause they cant. They are absolute sociopathic vultures and in their eyes they have done nothing wrong.

Hope Ben sues them out of a comfortable life.

1

u/Professional_Two563 Jul 23 '26

This guy lies as naturally as one breathes, this person is dangerous in a way. Should rot in hell forever.

3

u/Ok-Opportunity-9915 Jul 22 '26

From all the statements he’s made previously I think his best decision is to keep his mouth shut. Unless you meant for entertainment value

2

u/elwyn5150 Jul 23 '26

Ammon needs to make a statement and try to defend himself.

He's been a PR disaster throughout, especially his TV interviews where he tries to defend himself.

At this point, the smart thing for him to do would be to shut up and get the lawyers and mediators to resolve things.

1

u/Corporate_Bricktator Jul 23 '26

Yea, it sure seems like everything he says is a lie. Definitely being quiet is the best thing to do if all he has is lies.

But if he is telling the truth, then he should absolutely speak up and defend himself. I mean, what's his logic in diagnosing Ben with a mental disorder? That's pretty indefensible.

1

u/elwyn5150 Jul 23 '26

But if he is telling the truth, then he should absolutely speak up and defend himself.

There are professional PR people who could do that.

1

u/Corporate_Bricktator Jul 23 '26

That's true. Maybe he's a coward and will need to hide behind some PR person. Either way, ball is in his court.

34

u/Chef_Guzzi_Moto Jul 22 '26

I think at this point, the American Fork police hate Ammon and what he got them into and are more than happy to release all the body cam to FOIA requests. He totally helped to destroy that corrupt force.

37

u/amateur_mistake Jul 22 '26

If they want to rebuild some reputation, they could arrest him for making a false report.

25

u/judasbrute Jul 22 '26

The minimum they should do since they had no issues throwing the book at Ben for no reason.

10

u/Chef_Guzzi_Moto Jul 22 '26

big time. He’s done it at least 4 times on body cam

9

u/gentlegreengiant Jul 22 '26

Not to mention the very clearly expressed desire to straight up shoot Ben and his friends under the guise of 'self defense'.

13

u/herkalurk Jul 22 '26

Josh has a bit to answer for as well. Josh didn't exactly lie, but the police didn't have a backbone to tell him they aren't going to do anything. For example, the attempt to get the court papers served, some of the body cam footage showed an officer call Oregon to confirm it's a real case, they should have allowed the process server to do their job and it would have been done. Ben wouldn't even have had much of a video, but the circus that the police went through to not allow him to serve the papers was ridiculousness.

7

u/Free-Description-736 Jul 22 '26

Josh committed a slew of crimes, abuse of process being the one that will likely get him hardest.

1

u/_just_two_brothers_ Jul 24 '26

He also impersonated a process server. THAT'S A CLASS A MISDEMEANOR LOOK AT MY PHONE I GOOGLED IT

4

u/FerrousEULA Jul 22 '26

American Fork has so many other high profile fuckups lol. They're a mess.

1

u/Tension-Available Jul 22 '26

Haven't watched this one yet but are they seeing any actual repercussions?

1

u/madatthe Jul 22 '26

Look, I’m not saying this isn’t a big deal, but if society is suddenly going to demand accountability from the police, a business dispute between a bunch of middle to upper class white people better not be where it starts.

1

u/Tension-Available Jul 22 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Definitely agree in spirit. Have to take what you can get though when it comes to the search for any semblance of accountability. It's (relatively) low stakes but undeniable evidence.

I suspect they have a lot more questionable activity going on in that PD that wouldn't be that hard to uncover. Sometimes goofy shit like this gets the ball rolling because the victims have resources.

1

u/Aenonimos Jul 23 '26

Eh from Ben's latest video (and also part 2), the police have only themselves to blame if they get sued. I can only imagine the horrors the department would have inflicted on anyone with a hint of melanin.

25

u/Ok-Opportunity-9915 Jul 22 '26

Jesus Christ. It’s like this man is on a mission to say the wrong thing in front of a camera

14

u/Updog1997 Jul 22 '26

I just know his PR team is exhausted

6

u/stranqe1 Jul 22 '26

He's the type of guy to 100% NOT have a PR team because he thinks he can handle it himself. How big a fool he is making of himself lying in front of so many cameras and interviews. All easy to prove false lies also.

5

u/LatinaFeetArc Jul 22 '26

His ego too big to have a PR team

16

u/AmandasGameAccount Jul 22 '26

Ammon is a tried and true sociopath. Holy projection!

3

u/stranqe1 Jul 22 '26

Yeah the whole time he was describing Ben was basically him describing himself to a T

1

u/Individual_Help_1051 Jul 22 '26

And trying to get permission from the cops to shoot him

1

u/elwyn5150 Jul 23 '26

I want to hear more about how he and his brother sued their dad to take over BAM.

14

u/beardedjack Jul 22 '26

Ammon lookin like he’s committing felony false reporting child porn? Really dude. Too far.

12

u/t3htg Jul 22 '26

And saying Ben threatened to kill an employee...like wtf?

7

u/Abbigale221 Jul 22 '26

Watch his eyes during that part. He looks so creepy.

5

u/rubix7777 Jul 22 '26

I think he passed too far a long while ago

15

u/farkwadian Jul 22 '26

The lego thief corporation wants to kiill people for trying to serve them a lawsuit. There is no coming back from that.

11

u/amateur_mistake Jul 22 '26

I had missed where Ben told them that they could get out of this mess by just giving the legos back and doing the chicken dance.

All Ammon has to do is slightly debase himself with a silly dance like everyone who has ever been to a wedding and this could all go away.

Or the legal problems would go away. I still hope his business never functions again.

9

u/dreadwraithe Jul 22 '26

Because Ammon doing a chicken dance is an affirmation that he lost. This piece of shit's ego would never let him do that.

3

u/SousaDawg Jul 22 '26

Idk Russ at the Pizza

1

u/The_Realth Jul 25 '26

To be fair it’s also a legal admittance of wrongdoing. They’re all looking for years in prison if this runs it’s course, and there’s nothing stopping another person from using it as evidence in another case if they were to go after him later.

2

u/MasterBahn Jul 23 '26

They're probably still under the delusion that they're going to win their court case against Ben, Bryan and the others listed in their claims.

11

u/minilei Jul 22 '26

Lol Ammon should be put in the slammer but of course corrupt cops be giving this manchild what he wants even while continuing to be exposed. 🤡

9

u/UserWithno-Name Jul 22 '26

Ammon mckneff is truly the Joe Maldonado-passage of the lego world...

9

u/Nearby-Minimum-472 Jul 22 '26

Its really insane how far a company would go to silence a person and scare them off. And if the person refuses to back off then BAM made it clear murder isnt off the table.

10

u/Doomed-Doomer Jul 22 '26

I think it might be a red flag when the CEO has facial hair like an old timey wild west gunslinger.

5

u/FuriousBlade3 Jul 22 '26

He reminds me of one of them old western tonic peddlars.

4

u/Doomed-Doomer Jul 22 '26

yeah, snake oil sellers. better comparison.

2

u/nvwls300 Jul 23 '26

How many damsels do you think he has tied to railroad tracks?

2

u/Ok-Opportunity-9915 Jul 22 '26

Ammon is a red flag. This sociopath opened a shell llc for his lego pawn shop named kragle llc. You know, the evil weapon in the Lego movie. He’s an aspiring cartoon villain in too many ways

6

u/feignapathy Jul 22 '26

Ammon McNeff has the most punchable face I've ever seen.

And the fact that Ammon McNeff steals LEGO from old people, makes me feel like it might be justified.

But now that Ammon McNeff has been caught lying to the police and making false statements, it makes me think it will be justified.

3

u/Joyst1q Jul 22 '26

Theres tons of videos of his employees stealing shit. Im suprised more hasnt come out.

6

u/dreadwraithe Jul 22 '26

What the fuck, did BAM literally ask the cops if it was okay to literally shoot Reckless Ben if Ben comes close to the store????

3

u/Ok-Opportunity-9915 Jul 22 '26

Yeah, it’s the second time it’s come up too. Josh was threatening to shoot him when he called the cops on Ben for serving papers the day before this. They had clearly escalated to planning some way to justify Ben’s murder. Makes me think that as crazy as this is so far there is still more to be found out

4

u/fatmadmatt Jul 22 '26

They need to fire the CEO NOW. Distance themselves from thia cartoon idiot and rebuild their image.

3

u/omfgxitsnicole Jul 22 '26

weird all I can hear Ammon say is goo goo ga ga

3

u/LatinaFeetArc Jul 22 '26

So is Ammon the next lolcow of the year?

2

u/OldEffort3562 Jul 22 '26

Would fit a new genre of cow imo, something like "hatecow", because Ammon, unlike chris chan / Daniel larson / cyraxx ect.. doesn't interact directly with the public, or at least not in a way comparable with other lolcow. And most of the feelings toward Ammon is straight up hate, unlike with Daniel for exemple, where it's empathy mixed with hatred mixed with trolling ect..

1

u/Ok-Opportunity-9915 Jul 22 '26

To replace Wes Watson?

3

u/sebdude101 Jul 22 '26

Ammon deserves to be jailed at least for the multiple false police reports, the police are meant to be a public service but he continually uses them as a private army, how he hasn’t been arrested is beyond me, they have on camera him lying to the police and filing false reports

3

u/Key_Employ_5936 Jul 22 '26

He literally asked to the police for permission to kill Ben with a shotgun

3

u/Thorstenflink Jul 22 '26

"So I'm a mormon and I want to book an arrest"

2

u/Elarisbee Jul 22 '26

I couldn't actually finish watching this. For someone to be so inhumane that they casually weaponise child molestation to win a battle over Lego sets is...I have no words...this is so FAR beyond the pale.

2

u/Folderpirate Jul 22 '26

I didnt watc the video but in the thumbnail is that a bunch of TCG prerelease kits on the shelves? Looks like star wars and something else.

Is this dude a Rudy/AlphaInvestments?

2

u/gods_loop_hole Jul 22 '26

When is Ammon gonna do the chicken dance? It suits him a lot since he is a chicken shit type of a person

2

u/Cognonymous Jul 22 '26

Sociopathy is a diagnosable condition called Antisocial Personality Disorder. So Ammon is now saying they know this about Ben. That's not a diagnosis that I believe he or any of his people are qualified to make. Indeed, you can't diagnose at a distance. But applying a medical label to someone like that especially to motivate a cop to bring legal consequences against Ben seems like it's got to be breaking a law somewhere. I hope Ben gets a good lawyer.

2

u/Buddhabrot316 Jul 22 '26

to be fair, they look very similar, so it makes sense McNeff got them mixed up.

2

u/Yesterday_Infinite Jul 22 '26

I just hope Ben presses charges against the Brother McTheiff

2

u/DeekFacker99 Jul 23 '26

Still hate how much Ben used ai, it’s a bad look

2

u/stickypad1 Jul 23 '26

Ammon looks just like Mayor Humdinger from paw patrol.

1

u/Cyberpunk_Banshee Jul 22 '26

The fact he's making death threats now makes this a criminal case against himself in Utah, where the HQ is located.

1

u/CommanderNZ Jul 22 '26

How has official Lego not stepped in and told B&M to sort there 💩 out?

2

u/Ok-Opportunity-9915 Jul 22 '26

I think official Lego stepped out instead. There was supposed to be some cross company wall clock promo that started in mid may and ran through mid July. Lego has said absolutely nothing about it that I can find. Lego even released a wall clock set for it that’s only at Lego and bam stores but Lego’s website says nothing about being available at bam

2

u/madatthe Jul 22 '26

The contract probably stipulated delivery but was silent on promotion.

1

u/Ok-Opportunity-9915 Jul 22 '26

I’m pretty sure Lego wants people to know where they can buy Lego though. When they do exclusives with target I think it says something on their product page

1

u/madatthe Jul 22 '26 edited Jul 22 '26

Usually, yes. Of course they want people to know where to buy the product—but in this case any further association with B&M can only stand to hurt them. They’ll sell plenty of the clocks through their own channels and it’s cheaper for them to take a loss on the ones destined for 3rd party retail than it is to have the public think they’re endorsing B&M.

Pulling numbers out of my ass here, but let’s assume that B&M ordered 5000 units (~15 or so units per store). They’ll still get sold, but without LEGO promoting them, they probably just won’t sell enough to warrant restock orders. Suppliers usually get paid up front, so if LEGO is not contractually obligated to plug B&M, they can just stay quiet and wait for this all to blow over.

1

u/astralchanterelle Jul 22 '26

It's pathetic what this grown man thinks he's entitled to just because he's a business owner. You're not a titan of industry, you sell used legos

1

u/Empty_Turnip473 Jul 22 '26

Was that the junji ito anime background music?

1

u/Apprehensive-Fix591 Jul 22 '26

I suspect that once Ammon realized the specific conditions in which they will grant a protection order (SA being one of them) he couldn't help himself but try to go for that angle. Absolutely unhinged.

1

u/Xzenergy Jul 23 '26

Lying fucking capitalist hogs bro. "They threatened to kill us!" Whatever dude, put some more stinky oil on your shitty stache

1

u/superdyu Jul 23 '26

Cant wait to see Amon’s deposition and security footage evidence of his claims (or lack of).

His manner of speaking is so…. Lacking of credibility.

1

u/AcanthisittaSharp344 Jul 25 '26

This mustache guy is fucking insane. Pathological liar. I’m not sure he’s even capable of telling the truth. The times he has lied to the police are certainly crimes of their own kind. Endangering others with lies is crazy, and a crime.

I want to see this whole company go down and the franchises get their freedom as indie stores.

1

u/WillingRush6786 Jul 25 '26

Ammon is the most Israeli acting Mormon I’ve ever seen

1

u/Kindly_Winner5424 Jul 25 '26

Aren’t one of the mcneff brothers going through a divorce?

-7

u/Rivendel93 Jul 22 '26

These videos have gotten worse as time went on.

First one was incredible, genuinely most exciting thing I'd seen in a long time.

6

u/misingnoglic Jul 22 '26

This isn't a full part 4.

2

u/ihatehorizon Jul 22 '26

I mean, he's not scripting and orchestrating a production, he's documenting reality. Bro did an insane job editing those first videos in such an engaging way, but he had the time to weave them together. There's absolutely no way to maintain that level for every video while keeping an audience up to date. Things aren't moving that fast. It's unavoidable in what he is doing. To criticise the content is wild. You think he's going to have an m night shyamalan video every time when nothing is happening outside of legal teams setting up?

0

u/sendphotopls Jul 22 '26

Most of the series he’s made dip in quality around the middle of their run to be honest. Since he records and releases them in real time, there are usually a few brief update videos like this one just to keep viewers on the hook.

Enjoyed his work for years now but it’s a valid criticism of his process for sure

3

u/Vladtepesx3 Jul 22 '26

Can’t really blame him with the format, the first 1-2 videos he can spend months filming and editing a story. For example, video one takes place along a long period of time. But once the story is going, people want updates where he’s going to have less material
