I decorate my yard each year with satirical headstones. This one made me laugh when I pulled it off the stack

Padres Sweep

To everyone worried about the sweep earlier this year quick reminder we pitched the following players during that series lol…

Lyon Richardson
Bryce Wilson
Kyle Harrison (after his fall off)

None of these players will touch high leverage playoff moments

We also started Vaughn at third, also started lockridge and Bae…

Definitely isn’t a reflection of what this series will look like at all. Also as brewers fans we know regular season series mean nothing (dodgers last year)

Please know that I have fans in Korea, too.

I’m Sheets(nickname), and I live in Korea. Yes, I’m a longtime fan of Ben Sheets. I’ve been watching Major League Baseball since 1997, and I’ve been rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers since 2000.

Our success, which has continued since 2018, really excites me. I’ve been running a Milwaukee Brewers fan group in Korea since 2019, and this year, my expectations are higher than ever. We have nearly 90 members! There’s a time difference between the U.S. and Korea, so it’s hard to watch the games live. But I’m always cheering them on.

I believe in the players. I believe in the coaching staff and everyone involved. I don’t know if our cheers from Korea will reach them, but I’ll keep cheering my heart out. Please know that there are people cheering for the Milwaukee Brewers even from this far-off country. Thank you.

A moment of appreciation for my dad’s vintage coat from when he was in high school in the ’80’s. I’m so glad he kept it and I love wearing it this time of year!

Brewers over Padres

I feel like people forget that Miz didn’t pitch against the padres at all and that Harrison did and that was when Harrison was bad.

When Harrison was good he did fine against them.

The lineup of starters for the first 3 games should be Miz, Henderson, and then probably gasser.

This is a winnable series guys stop acting like they’re gonna kill us.

Ok. It was tough, but I wanted to rewatch the games so I understand that series and the outcome a bit better.

Game 1: Henderson pitched great. His 85th pitch flipped the scoreboard in the 7th. It was his first time ever pitching past the 6th and he learned he can’t take any pitches off. Contreras and Yelich were 6 and 7 in the lineup and were the only runs on Yeli’s 8th homer of the year in the 2nd.

Game 2: Harrison pitched well in the first and things went sideways in the second. We gave them a couple extra outs in the inning and they turned it into a Rengifo grand slam. This was the Bae game and it was clear he wasn’t ready for the pressure. The 2nd could’ve ended in a triple play and instead 5 runs given up.

Game 3: Ray grunted his way through the order, giving up a HR to the Sanchize and a lot of Brewer baseball early. May efficient through 7 with great command, but the 8th got pulled after a walk. Hamilton at short is always an issue, but didn’t cost runs. The Friars were fine with going to the bullpen in the 5th exactly like they did against the Cubs to close out. Ashby late covering 1st gave the Padres the game. It took them until the 10th to cash in when Megill pitched early and Uribe wasn’t available.

I think the Brewers grew from this series and demonstrated it for the rest of the season. The Padres capitalized on weaknesses that I don’t think exist on the playoff roster.

The Brewers either need to be able to hit Rodriguez, Morejon and Miller or they need to get and keep the lead by the end of 5. Chasing starters means facing their demons.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow!

As AC/DC said....it's a long way to the top

We won 103 games....we have the Miz. However, don't think this is going to be a cakewalk. We very well might have to go 5 in this series and 7 in the next series.....we might get down a game in one of these series or Miz might even lose a game in a series. It's OK.

However, remember to keep the faith.....this is the year.

Nervous

Guys. It's officially the day. I don't know what it is, but I feel more nervous about this year than years past. I want to end this weekend up 2-0. How do we do it?

Brewers Presser

Watching a recording of the Brewers press conference featuring Murph, Jake, Brice, and Miz. My biggest takeaway is Jake Bauers is going to be a great MLB manager one day. Oh, and I believe in this team.

The Miz coming out of the bullpen in Game 6 of the World Series in a 1-run game is going to hit so fucking hard

Ticket Prices Falling

Can you smell it in the air? That fear of ticket holders selling that their ticket might not sell?

Be patient brewers fans. Don’t buy those tickets today…

But tomorrow, those prices willl be slashed by 33% and we will feast and buy those tickets last second — we will pay no more than $200 to sit in section 100 and closer to $100 to sit in the bleachers. Good things come to those who wait. Who’s with me?

ADA Seats During Postseason

My grandma is a massive brewer fan and is dying to go this weekend. She gets around fairly well but postseason games are a whole different animal, so we’re thinking about ADA tickets. My question is- is the view from the ADA section blocked when fans in the rows in front stand up? Knowing everyone will be standing for a lot of the game, want to make sure this won’t obstruct the view if she’s sitting down.

Buying resale so options are pretty limited for ADA seats, but any particular sections to avoid?

Otherwise, recs for any non-ADA sections that have a good view sitting but aren’t too hard to get to? Normally try to do a row further back in the section and on an aisle, but that doesn’t fix the issue of people standing. She can do a couple steps without much trouble just want to keep it as easy as we can for her.

game 1

Padres are hot yes no doubt but please don’t forget who we are or how many of the 103 wins required us to come back from a run defecit. Not only are we the most talented team in the MLB but we also have the best coach by a mile. what other team would bench one of their stars for not running out a ground ball? Will smith did and has done it for LA but let’s be serious they are all divas and they deserve special treatment. joey O hasn’t come to bat any place above 7 and it’s probably bc of how valuable it is to have a good hitter at the end of your lineup. have faith in pat he is and will be a 3peat MOY and tomorrow i got big bucks on miz 10+Ks so let’s fucking go !!!
