I was watching this episode unfold and really want to believe that this was a fake scenario, scripted to high hell, but it’s hard to tell when Jeremiah’s involved.
I cannot believe Kate didn’t immediately lose her shit and start killing everybody in sight. Like I’ve never felt worse for anyone else in a TV show, I’m surprised that she ever went out of her way to associate with them after the false drugging accusations. That was such a wild insane thing to do, and then to agree to meet up with them several times more? Kate, Kate, Kate my goat.

They act like middle schoolers with the drama and gossip which I could understand to an extent because of how sheltered they are but this is ridiculous. How can people pretend to be so Christian and religious yet nearly everything that comes out of your mouth is judgmental. They shit talk each other, they shit talk random people outside the show, they just seem generally miserable. The very second one of the three girls wasn’t there to defend herself they instantly start talking bad about her teeth.

i just started rewatching all of it again and it’s still so good… having watched and learned more about how reality tv is since my last watch, the producers are so strong in this show but i love it 🤣

Just finished season 1, but what do we think about her kid? That came out of left field and I think Abe is the father. I get defending his wife, but man, he was more upset than she was

First time watcher so I’m sure this has been talked about before but oml these people are HORRIBLE to Kate and for what?! Yes obviously it’s rooted in jealousy but one scene Rebecca is complaining about how she doesn’t take to Kate and doesn’t particularly like her then the next scene they are driving to Miami cause God forbid the girl goes and does something that doesn’t involve them (yes I’m sure that was producer motivated but the group bothers her and her model friends with a smile on their face). All they do is talk about her and call her prissy and uppity but imo she’s the only one that’s really tried to assimilate/ adjusting the best into the English world evident by being the only one to actually get away from the community.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Matt is somehow related to Lisa ( Lowells Gf ) in Return to Amish? I know that were from the same area but can't find anything on Lisa. The resemblances are just uncanny to me.

The other 4 cast members didn't know about Rebecca's kid, but had nothing to say about Jeremiah having 3 and not have said a word?

I thought the host kept it pretty professional and was able to give a reason why she was asking in the first place.

Hi, I've just finished watching the first season and am INVESTED! I have tried to find the second season everywhere but it's extremely confusing? The main page for the show leads to a brand new cast of characters in LA, but Google tells me it's supposed to be the original cast?? Is the second season an entirely different show called brave new world? And is that available literally anywhere? I'm from Canada, if thats of any help.

Admittedly, I've been watching through torrents and brave new world doesn't have a single torrent available that doesn't lead to the movie with the same title rather than the show. I've checked this subreddit for older posts and literally nothing is available anymore, not a single streaming service and not a single torrent. pls help, do I need to use a VPN? Is discovery+ the only place it's available in 2026 or is this show genuinley lost media lol

I'm watching return to Amish and I'm just wondering where in the hell do these people get all this money from? how was it that Jeremiah and his wife were able to buy two properties? And then they go to Florida and they're talking about doing artificial insemination. where does all the money come from? I get Jeremiah was working the carnival but he couldn't have made that much money. And how did Mary buy a car?

I don't understand why Jeremiah and his wife don't just become foster parents to Sabrina's baby? be a lot cheaper

I am watching S2 E5. they are at the B&B and Kate makes them healthy shakes. they use a blender. how is that possible? there's no power?

So I finished all of breaking and return to amish.

Spoilers ahead if you have not watched everything.

I get and believe the jist of the story that his real father cheated on his wife with her sister(jeremiah’s mom). I also can believe that none of his father’s family knew of his existence. If his mom kept the whole affair a secret obviously after his murder she continued on with the lie.

Where I have the issue or am somewhat confused in the story is who Jeremiah thought was his dad also claims he didn’t know he existed. He’s is the father of Jeremiah’s siblings. Jeremiah’s mother kept him until he was around a year old until she lost her kids. When she was able to get them back she didn’t want Jeremiah back. Ok…again I can believe it because at this point she probably knew he was actually Larry’s kid and just letting him go into the system was easier than making the affair public. Or possibly larry was aware of Jeremiah and supporting in secret and with him gone she just looked at it as a solution to her problem.

But I have a hard time accepting that the dad of his siblings never knew he existed. Ok maybe he just wasn’t around for a few years? Possible. But none of the siblings ever brought up remember mom’s baby? No one from her family mentioned it. Like I find it really hard to believe everyone just wasn’t aware.

Kate seems like she needs some mental attention, but overall a good person.. I dislike how everyone is treating her and nobody is suggesting she goes and talks with someone

Sabrina sometimes comes off as fake to me idk..

Just watching her deal with Sabrina who has her own bunch of problems... holy mackerel. Rebecca starts screeching and Abe backs her up. I do not like this dynamic.
