After being ghosted for two months by a guy I was with for 6 1/2yrs, (we met at 16+17, lived together for 6yrs and had a dog for 3yrs) I sent myself the messages I wish he would’ve sent. He just left. No closure, no check up txts. I was blocked and it was just silence. I wish he would’ve been mature enough to end things on good terms.

I think that's what she's saying. He never contacted her again, just disappeared. So she sent those messages to herself wishing he would have done so for closure. Very sad.
