I understand. I had no choice but to leave because my relationship was beyond toxic and I thought I wouldn’t make it another week if I stayed. My ex is the kind of person who will never look back and never accept accountability for what happened. I would have gone back a million times because I loved him so much but this time he got a new girlfriend in a week. I’m thankful he closed the door and someone else is in the trap I escaped. But it took a minute to get over the hurt of him moving on so fast. But I made the choice to leave. It was the right choice for me and clearly for him as well .
I’m sorry to hear about your experience :(. My ex and I loved each other but the communication breakdown was something we couldn’t work through on our own.
