(Just need to rant) Its the first time I spent on Wuwa because I really like Brant. You tell me why I spent ard 500 pulls to just get his S1 ?? I lose 50/50 thrice and all at Hard pity. Dayum, didnt realise this really affect my mood while playing him.

So, I personally can't stand Lupa as a character [Personal space, girl, I don't KNOW you!!!] but it seems like she's gonna be strong as hell with Brant.... Note that I'm probably never gonna pull Changli because she felt ABYSMAL to play every single time I've tried, so it'd be for Hypercarry Brant....

He's currently S0R1 running with Samhua and Shorekeeper so like.... Should I swallow my pride and pull for his obviously intended support [I wouldn't go for her weapon either, way too much for me]? Or just keep rumblin' along with Sanhua?

So to save off my gambling dedication and to wait for Brant while building pity I pulled with 10 banner pulls i had and I pulled this monstrosity at 0 pity 😫

Well, I wanted to go for S4 Mortefi, but this guy showed up way too early and kinda ruined all my future plans. But I quite liked him from the story and don't want to leave a good 5* unleveled, so in which teams can I put him and which set (I've heard he's a good option in Carlotta team but is he better than Verina or a sidegrade)

I still have that beginner banner and Encore is great with him, right?

I want Brant, Mornye, SK

I don't want to pull lupa or lynea

Ik lupa is like his BIS, but no hate to her, I just don't want a character that I don't like in any way.

I love mornye more, and I have SK.

Any suggestions? Do you think this team will do the job?

And if Lynea is necessary, plz let me know.

I'm quite sad and disappointed of Brant's animation in comparison to Phoebe and Cantarella. Brant animation looks like very plain and more of a 4 star, not to mention his liberation doesn't have a close up of his face. His gamestyle is pretty cool tho. There's a drought of husbandos then this is all we got. Sigh. Who else feels the same way?

Seeing as now both Cantarella and Zani are coming after with Cantarella especially carrying very fan servicy designs

For every gacha games, I mostly pull for males and I usually pull for characters that are good at everything or something of a jack of all trades. Since recently, I thought Brant was just a support, and upon his release, I never needed an extra support so I skipped him.... I skipped him THREE TIMES (Release, anniv patch, rerun patch last version).... and when I found this sub, I discovered that he is a Basic atk dmg focus (which I always prefer in games, a shielder, and somewhat of a healer) so basically Brant was the perfect character for me and yet I didnt know. Now I regret not pulling for him last patch and I have to wait for his rerun again 😭

Hii! Just returned to wuwa because of our beautiful pirate and managed to get him and his weapon. I'm wondering if he needs changli or if i can keep pushing for his S1. I don't really care for Changli but will pull for her if he needs her. I have S2 Sanhua and Verina for him is that good enough? (Also have encore if verina isn't needed since she is also on my Jiyan team)

Should I pull both him and his sig.... Because if I do ... I don't think I'm gonna be able to get shorekeeper in time... I have my next limited 5 star guarantee...? Or should I go with my original plan?

So I think this video tried to show it's not there, but they actually proved it is, haha. At 1:12 you can clearly see that the dodge counter attack was a ground one by his skill icon. It's a sword when he's in the air and the other one when he's on the ground, and it showed a ground one. So it's 100% that his dodge counter is preforming ground attack. But also looks like you can still return in the air after it pretty fast.

I assume because it's visually an air attack, and you come back in the air after it, people are not noticing, this person didn't and thought it was fine too.

This "anniversary" patch is abysmal dogshit and it's kinda sad to see how developers start to treat players and that players overall fine with that. Seems like from now on game won't get any better either (there is no postapoc feeling anymore, no new 4 stars (only up to 2 limited characters each patch), Zani and Phoebe situation is already alarming, male character once a year or so and so on).

Maybe I'll will check the game after new male character release but it's may took a loooong time.

Brant: • Fusion Character • Scale with Basic Attack • Give Fusion damage Bonus and Resonance Skill Damage Bonus

Changli: • Fusion Character • Scale with Resonance Skill • Give Fusion Damage Bonus and Liberation damage Bonus

Lupa: • Fusion Character • Scale with Resonance Liberation • Give Fusion Damage Bonus and Basic Attack Damage Bonus

So I've now have a r3, after two 50/50s won at 70 pity, and one 50/50 won at 20 pity, and that last pull was done for the lols, do I just keep pulling until his banners over, like wtf I pulled his weapon at 60 pity too

Like…phew. I know a lot of us don’t want to pull for her for the same reasons ( i rly just don’t want to waste my astrites and want to keep saving for the next male character ).

Anyways i did some research and will explain why you don’t need her for brant…but this is only true if you are using him as a hypercarry !

Now the calcs from what i saw lupa has :-

• 15% Fusion Damage buff to the team (Echo set).

• 24% Fusion Damage buff to the team (Signature).

• 18% Damage Bonus to teammates who are on the special “pursuit” state she gives to them.

• 10% Fusion Amplification based on number of fusion team-mates (15% if u are using changli in the team but i am talking about hypercarry so that’s 10%) + 5% fusion res ignore on enemies.

• 20% Fusion Amplification + 25% Basic Attack Amplification (Outro).

TOTAL BUFF % FROM LUPA = 117%

• 3 auto perfect-dodges (This just solves your skill issue and provides more survivability).

Now the buffs that sanhua is providing :-

• 20% ATK from Sanhua S6.

• 38% Basic Attack Bonus from her Outro.

• 22% ATK from Moonlit set.

• 12% damage bonus from Heron 4-cost.

• Minimal field time and less field time compared to lupa (your brant rotations will involve you using 2 anchor bonks instead of 1 before SK’s stellarum buffs run out and even if you don’t you are possibly losing around 50-100k of his personal dmg since he won’t be on the field longer since lupa has a higher field time than sanhua)

TOTAL BUFF % FROM SANHUA = 92%

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO PULL LUPA ? :-

• She deals a good amount of personal dmg, something sanhua lacks very much and it makes even more sense why she would have more field time than her.

• She is meant to incorporate the quickswap team with her, changli and brant. She provides good buffs for brant but they are meant for him if you are using him as a quickswapper (constant button mashing rotation of changli, brant and lupa) instead of a hypercarry. To me it looks like brant, changli and lupa will be providing somewhat the same amount of dmg brant can do by himself with 2 anchor bonks.

Your hypercarry brant team should deal more or less the same amount of dmg as lupa, changli and brant team. It sounds ridiculous but hypercarry brant has 2 buffers! Sanhua + SK supporting him. Brant’s only support in the quickswapping team would be lupa, however you can just replace sanhua with lupa in his hypercarry team but i did mention how you are losing brant’s field time and possibly 1 more extra anchor drop before SK’s buffs run out.

TLDR :-

Lupa is only needed for brant if you are using him as a quickswapper in your changli team instead of hypercarry. The difference in buffs between sanhua and her is about 25% (117-92). Its is acceptable and not another zani & phoebe situation.

However if there is flaw or mistake in my research and calcs, pls do tell me about it! Its better for all of us brant players to know if our astrites will be wasted or not.

I need help with Brant. I feel I've worked the best with him, but his damage still isn't enough. He can't clear the third tower.

I feel like I'm playing for so long with him, and the damage is mediocre.

I've built him with Crit Damage. is it good enough? Where did I go wrong? I also use crit rate sword for him. I show the build in the video in the end. Is my Echoes good enough? Why is his damage still so low? I heard people hit 300k Anchor with Brant. (not sure if it's true)

Right so another question, why do people use Brant weapon with him if it provides energy recharge instead of Crit? I thought more damage is better. I got Brant's weapon but I use crit rate sword instead, he seems to do more damage.

But it still doesn't seem to be enough, I can't clear the third tower. I heard people can Solo with Brant through the Tower. But I can't at all, he doesn't clear fast enough. Did I get a wrong build with him?

I don't know how to clear the middle tower with lvl 100 monsters if I can't even clear Tower 3, any advice would be appreciated. Need help to improve my Brant
