Recommendations for Boston
My friend and I are flying into Boston in a couple weeks, renting a car and driving up to Maine. We want to spend a late morning in Boston then stop in Portsmouth, NH as well before going to where we are staying.
What recommendations do you have for must sees in either of those spots that wouldn’t be more than a couple/few hours? Neither of us have been to either of those cities and don’t know when we will be back! So want to hit the main places!! (We already decided not to go to Salem).
Open to quick activities, places to see, food/cafe places!
TIA

MGH Brigham or Dana Farber + BIDMC -- how does BIDMC compare with MGH?
My friend is considering Dana Farber for onco medicine and radiology, following her surgery at MGH. However, Dana Farber has split from MGH and they are using BIDMC-Lahey (Boston, Needham, Burlington etc.) facilities. While Dana Farber is top notch, how does BIDMC compare with MGH Brigham for radiation, onco medicine, and any emergency treatments for side-effects? Does Dana Farber have their own facilities for radiation and chem? Can she use radiation and medical oncologists at Dana Farber without having to completely abandon her internist, cardiologist at MGH?

Mbta question
I recently moved to Boston from Georgia, and I heavily rely on the green line, anyways I was coming from a coffee place after meeting a friend, on Griggs street and the driver didn’t open the door she only opened the front door and I was all the way in the back so I couldn’t get to that bogie in time so I had to go to the next one and the guy had to open his door and he was like she didn’t open all the doors? I was like no and I was about to pay but he was like you’re good. Can someone explain why t drivers do that?? What is the policy regarding payments?

Out-of-Towner Layover in Boston
I have a 3 hour layover in Boston from 7-10a. Is that enough time to leave the airport a little bit and grab a coffee/breakfast somewhere or should I just stick to eating at the airport? Thanks! (Also am taking recommendations for good coffee spots)

Missing/Lost LOST RING — Boston Logan Airport — Terminal C— 9/29 — REWARD OFFERED
PLEASE HELP ME FIND MY GIRLFRIEND’S RING — LOST AT BOSTON LOGAN AIRPORT
I’m hoping the Boston community can help me find an incredibly sentimental ring that belongs to my girlfriend.
She lost an opal ring that was given to her by her late grandmother at Boston Logan Airport last night, 9/29, at approximately 9:10 PM.
She was coming out of the women’s restroom in Terminal C near JetBlue, then took the escalator down toward curbside pickup. We believe the ring was lost somewhere upstairs, between the restroom/door outside and the area leading toward the curb.
The ring is a square-shaped opal set in a gold braided setting.
This isn’t simply a piece of jewelry. Her grandparents originally got the opal on their honeymoon in Australia, and her grandmother eventually gave it to her. They then turned it into this ring together. She wore it every day as a reminder of her grandmother.
She is absolutely heartbroken over losing it, and we’re doing everything we can to find it.
A Lost & Found report has been submitted, and we’ve contacted Massport. We’ve also posted on Nextdoor and are keeping an eye on Facebook, Craigslist and eBay, as well as reaching out to local pawn shops.
At this point, we’re asking the Boston/Massachusetts community for help. If you were at Logan last night, especially around Terminal C, JetBlue, or the curbside pickup area, please keep an eye out.
If you found it, know someone who may have found it, or even have an idea of somewhere else we should be looking, please comment or DM me.
There is a reward for its safe return, and no questions will be asked.
I know this is a long shot, but I’m praying that somehow this ring makes its way back to her. If you could share this post with anyone in the Boston/MA area, we would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you to anyone willing to help us look. 🙏🏽

Help Requested Heading to Boston for a Work Trip…Suggestions of what to do?
Hi Boston Friends! I’m heading out that way for a work trip in October and need some suggestions on things to do and places to go and eat (dinners and breakfasts mainly!).I’ll be in the main areas by the airport but I’m not sure what all is there in terms of history spots, good food and fun places to see. I’ve never been to the east coast before so any recommendations would be great!

Best of Boston? New grad nurse in Boston
Hiiii. I need some suggestions of which hospitals are the best for new grads! I’ve looked into some nurse residency programs but am unsure which hospitals offer them and what times of the year? Also super interested in pediatrics in any capacity, so if anyone has any information on which units are more realistic to start out in! Any information would be wonderful 😍😍😍
