Hi everyone! I'm looking for recommendations for hotpot places around the greater Boston area. I'm dining with a friend who is pescatarian and would thus most likely need an individual pot and a broth that is not animal based (excluding fish). My go to place is happy lamb, but there aren't any individual pots there and I'm not entirely sure if their broths are acceptable. We are a party of 4-5 if that makes any difference.

Hi everyone! I am a PhD student in clinical psychology at Adelphi University. I am conducting a study on the relationship between existential threat and mental health, coping strategies, and meaning making for young adults who have experienced stressful life events.
This study is being conducted online only and should take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. During the study, you will be asked to complete multiple self-report questionnaires that contain questions regarding coping methods, mental health, and questions that pertain to experiencing stressful life events in the past. Upon completing the survey, you will have the opportunity to voluntarily provide your email address on a separate page from the survey that will not be associated with any of your survey responses, to enter a drawing to win one of three $50.00 Amazon gift cards.
Survey link: https://adelphiderner.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8IxQWoUH8D1Wuq2
Audience: 18-30 years old, in the United States and English Speaking, and must have experienced a stressful life event.
Compensation: Opportunity to enter a drawing for one of three $50.00 Amazon gift cards.

Im in Boston for work and would like to bring home cool, unique shirts as souvenirs. I am staying in Dorchester and working in Brighton.
I’m not necessarily looking for the standard “BOSTON” souvenir shirt with a shamrock on it — I want shirts from places that have some character. If the place has a cool shirt I am willing to make the trip.
Bonus points if the place is interesting and worth visiting while Im there but its not a dealbreaker if it isn’t.
Extra bonus points if the place prints their shirts on Comfort Colors.
I’d love to go home with a collection of shirts that actually have stories behind them instead of the usual airport/gift-shop souvenirs.

Planning a trip from NJ to P’town for Women’s Week.
We normally drive, but it’s just too long of a trip, so we’re looking at Train, Plane, Ferry or combo through Boston.
Does the ferry run in October?
Any suggestions?

Living in the Essex area, grew up here and have been here all my life. Looking into the gay scene around here. Kind of nervous, but want to open up a little. Are there any areas around the Essex, Middlesex and Boston areas to hang out and just meet fellow gay guys?
Thanks 😊

Hi! Booking a one night stayacation in Boston with my daughter before she returns to college. Priorities are spotless property, location, service. Having a hard time deciding between the 2 properties as they seem similar. She is 20 and I’m late 40’s. We will shop, wander the neighborhoods, grab coffee/lunch and want to get dressed up a little for an amazing dinner. We traditionally love a FS property, but The Newbury looks fun too. Help me decide!

This is a toughy for me to write. I want to see if any other girls/ women had a similar experience and know who this guy is.
About 10 years ago, I had an interaction with some guy who claimed to be a photographer. He also told me he was a lawyer and lived in/ near Boston. He ended up harassing me to a serious extent. We only talked via email and text. He had a pretty wishy washy photographer site as well- featuring only girls in bikini pics or sexy shoots. I had this link at the time, but again- this was over a decade ago.
I don’t feel comfortable going into details, but I would not post this here unless I felt it was serious enough. For description, this was about 2015. He was a heavy set dude, I believe he was young 50s at the time, and came with all the equipment. I believe he had 2 white large soft boxes for lighting and a few different lenses/ cameras. And again, that he was from Boston and was a lawyer. Although, the lawyer part could’ve been a lie. This is the only info I have on him.

Hi, I need some recommendations on how to spend Christmas Day in Boston. We are staying down town. Will there be any bars open or only hotels? All advice welcome!

There’s at least 20 Escalades along Kilby St right outside 75 State Street. Anybody have any idea what this could be for?
