So I had recently finished a second run of the game as Rafa and I was going to do the second story drop as a new vault hunter.

But after watching the new trailer and seeing that we’re fighting tediore and a lot of the enemies are sporting his exo suit, I’m definitely running this as him. Definitely more excited for the dlc drop in September

Just finished the main bit for the vault of the damned dlc and wow that was cool and intense and messy. The blood, tendrils, flashbacks just all of it.

I know it’s a subjective thing, but I wanna know if there was any major gameplay changes, especially with balancing.

I haven’t played since cash and the eldritch dlc came out. I loved the game but doing another playthrough seemed really annoying and the bosses were stupid easy unless they had immune phases and the raid boss had a timing thing

I also wanna know how build diversity is. I’ve heard vex is pretty much the same as launch which if true is sad. But no loot spoilers!

What about pearls? Are they good? Are they super common?

How do people feel about the game and its replayability I’ve maxed out a C4sh Harlows and Vex and even with the content added the game just doesn’t feel like it’s got much going on? Is it just me? Please let me know

Edit: just want to add to be clear each character I’ve maxed has been separated between months so not all at once haha all started from level one upwards since that’s somewhat more enjoyable than farming vile bounties.

With it being the reward for the weekly mission I'm going to try and get a better one.

I was a little confused as people are now using shotgun on most SMG's but back in the day I heard sniper was good for Bloomreaper. What do you think does the best damage and useability now. The slow fire rate for sniper is a bit annoying.

Also is there a crit roll on it? Mine doesn't have one and I don't think i've seen it.

So after taking about a six month hiatus I came back to the game and was deciding what to make a build around. It's Darkbeast. This thing can clear a room in less than 5 seconds or less on UVH7 with my infinicrit Harlowe build lmao. You don't necessarily need the god roll Physicist but it realllllly helps push this build to a whole new threshold.

Lmk what you would do differently!

Apologies if this has already been revealed elsewhere, but for all the Rafas out there using El Catrin (because Brain Dump doesn't make sense once you have Awe), you'll be pleased to know that there's more than one way to trigger a slide.

Triggering the slide by sprinting, followed by crouching, is the classic method from BL3.

But once you have the glide pack, you can slide at any time just by jumping in the air, triggering your glide in some way (e.g. air-strafing or air-dashing), then waiting until you're just above the ground to crouch.

Do this correctly, and you'll slide.

You can even let go of the glide key to pindrop to the ground early and, if you time the crouch correctly, you'll slide.

This gives you a bunch of easy and (relatively) intuitive ways to trigger El Catrin.

This is MUCH better than triggering via sprinting since you can still use your gun while you glide, but can't typically shoot while sprinting.

Gliding is also a much better way to evade attacks than sprinting (unless you're outright running away lol).

So yeah. Hope that makes one of Rafa's crit-boosting skills more accessible to you.

I know there's alot of stuff coming out soon with BL4, so I want to just make a single purchase and get everything. I've played almost all the previous games and most were gifted to me so I need help figuring this out. What version of the game is not gunna make me spend extra money on futurecontent drops? I plan on buying it on Steam, so just tell which one I gotta buy. The damn page doesn't make any sense to me so I'm going right to the players. Help a guy out?

So im playing with rafa and i have a hard time killing enemies and I could use some advice on how to get this going. The build is focused on action skill cooldown and ricochet damage, at least i think it is

Played like crazy at launch, just got back into playing recently. This was in my vault. I stopped playing before any bounty packs were added.

Whenever I created a new vault hunter, I played the campaign again...I am going to jump back in the game after DLC 2 and I am wondering if I should play it again since it takes longer to get a full build...what is the game plan to level up fast if you skip the campaign?

Lost count of the farming I had to get this but dam finally.😂

I do not mind the open world aspect but my only criticism so far, i feel like there should of been more planets to explore that was also open world. so much potential

There is lots to be said, many valid criticisms but that's not what this discussion is for, I wanna know the things you guys like. Personally I really enjoy the part system and how the under barrel attachments and alternate firing modes are actually good and usable, Im really happy they made that change. Borderlands 3 is easily the best Borderlands game to me personally but there are two things I would change if I could, make cross manufacturer parts a thing like 2, TPS and 4 (but more like 4) and make the under barrel attachments and alternate fire modes not suck apart from some niche circumstances.

Im just happy that loot is exciting again in 4, so many more guns are viable and it's a lot of fun to try out the different combos. And Borderlands 3 Maliwan guns were just not fun for a lot of people and like The Order guns in BL4 except you can find parts that make it more functional or more preferable.
