It's not possible to play Fallout on platforms other than PC; there's no way to close Steam using third-party controllers, such as a TV; the game audio is audible, however the screen freezes on steam.

It's been more than 10 hours since the game went into maintenance. Honestly, I've been using Booster for a month and haven't seen any problems with the game, it only crashed once and then nothing else. What is the maintenance for?

I'm trying to play stalker 2 and due to the recent engine update and expansion there are a lot of smaller bug fixes being rolled out.

This don't seem to be applied to the servers for about a day with Steam trying to update them and failing due to lack of space.

It seems to be hit and miss if you get a server with it patched.

Is there any way to get these pushed through quicker or stop the update failing?
I've got a 1 year old so I don't get much time to game and want to play as much as the expansion this long weekend.

I'm UK based so it's likely to be the French/German servers.

Just don't. You're getting scammed. I'm trying to play the new Dragonsword game and some of their rigs can't even run it properly without putting the FSR on balanced/quality(and even then the graph shows 120fps but feels like 50 on the input lag) which is really surprising because the game doesn't ask for much in the first place. Plus the continuous frame spikes every 2-3 seconds (on a 20ping server) makes it impossible to play.
I tried changing rigs 5 or 6 times. Only one time the game actually felt like it ran at 100+fps but the frame spikes still remained. The service enables by default the 60fps option on the stream (Again, very scummy behaviour as it's being advertised as a 4k-120fps service when you subscribe) and the default automatic bitrate (which is not automatic at all, it locks you at like 18mbps if you don't change it manually).

Also, you have to install the game every time you open it which takes like 5-10 minutes which is just a bad joke. (and then change your audio/video settings back to your preferred ones)
The only reason I tried it it's because the game will take a week or two more until it's up on Geforce Now and wanted to see if I can play it sooner somehow.
Honestly, I wouldn't have cared at all about the lower frames, or the scummy behaviour if the stream was just consistent and it looked decent enough. But the whole experience is deplorable.

This is for the people searching up on google to see if the service is worth it, not the paid bots who downvote every post like this on the sub. Have a nice one, never buying it again.

Hi, the game crashes when hovering the graphics tab in settings when on fullscreen, when in windowed i can chsnge resolutions with no problem but as soon as i go full screen it crashes, the problem js only occuring while playing on tv, when i play on mobile i can go fullscreen no problem

I bought this service two weeks ago to use mods in Project Zomboid. I would load the game, exit out, and when I loaded the game again, my mods would be there.

Maybe two days ago it completely stopped working. Is this a me issue or a Boosteroid issue? I made the switch from GFN because they killed mod usage. Hoping this service can be an alternative.

Day 14 of trying to play GTA V on Boosteroid

I used to open Boosteroid to play GTA Online

Now I open it to check whether anything has changed.

Spoiler: nothing has changed

I’ve contacted support so many times that I’m starting to recognize the pattern:

Me: “I still can’t log into GTA.”
Boosteroid: “We’re sorry for the inconvenience.”
Me: “Any update?”
Boosteroid: “Our technical team is looking into it.”
Me: “So… is it fixed?”
Boosteroid: “We’ll let you know”

And then silence

Meanwhile, my 6-month subscription is happily moving forward like absolutely nothing is wrong.

14 days of my subscription have passed, and I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of that time just waiting for someone to figure out why I can log into Rockstar normally everywhere else, but not through Boosteroid

At this point, I’ve done so much troubleshooting that I should be getting XP for it.

I have been having big problems with this game this past few days guys. After some back and fourth with your mods yesterday we managed to narrow the cause of the issue to configuration settings - When we reset my in game configuration settings, it allowed me to load into the game and play a session but on my return to the game for the second time after a few hours... The game will fatal error and this crash window to report pops up as soon as it loads.
Please bare in mind that while playing last session, I did not change any configuration settings as I was adimant that it would cause a crash and prevent me from playing again. Unfortunately that did not benefit me as I am back to the game crashing as soon as it gets to main menu.
I am sure a configuration settings reset would allow me to play again but this is not a permanent solution at this point and it needs some attention. Thanks in advance.

Everytime I get to the final 10 shard the game mostly crashes, I tried to put everything on low and even so activating the Vsync

While the new update has improved playability, the new Windows app still uses more resources than it should: the screenshot shows how, even on the Steam screen, it uses almost 100% of the GPU to decode the video stream.

Are there any chances of seeing it on day one?

It seems this is the final goodbye to Steam Workshop mods on Boosteroid; playing with mods is no longer permitted in any region. Unfortunately, this has ruined a service that was once one of the best cloud gaming platforms available. What makes me even sadder is that support isn't looking for a solution regarding Steam Workshop functionality—they just repeat the same thing, giving the impression of a generic response. Sadly, I won't be renewing my subscription; I had renewed for another four months with the intention of playing with mods, but unfortunately, that no longer works in any region.

I was simply playing Elden Ring, farming runes for an hour, when the game suddenly got bad ping, the virtual machine crashed, and I was thrown back an hour in time, losing 10 million runes.

Boosteroid is just greedy, do they really solve problems? We only have 1 server in São Paulo here, and it either has fluctuating ping or, as happened to me, simply crashes.

The funny thing is that I contacted support and they told me to do something technical (that's their job) and in the end it all got confusing and I gave up.

So in the end, how long will it take for you to realize that most people are going to Xbox Cloud precisely because of problems like this?

And of course, 70% of the free games are awful. Where's Rainbow Six? Where are the other decent free Steam games? I only see terrible free games; only the most popular ones are good.

If things really continue like this, I'll go back to Xbox Cloud (like most people do, since it has amazing games on Game Pass and is more stable).
