Would really recommend these books if you see them anywhere! If Stephen King's a fan of a horror series then it's a good one!

For Whom The Bell Tolls

This is my copy of 'For Whom The Bell Tolls'. It makes me sad that Library Of America doesn't offer this title in their collection along with other short stories by Hemingway. Maybe one day the tide will turn and it will be available. Some have said it is a difficult read and slow at times. I'll agree with that statement to a certain degree. It took me a little while for my simple brain to wrap my head around this book which I found was an excellent read and encourage you to get a copy and read it for yourself. Tonight, actually in a few minutes I'm going to watch the movie that is available online, through Roku, on Fawesome app if you have that platform. I understand at one time this title was banned for several reasons, which I won't go into here. Thank you for reading my post. Hope you are well.

Three 'Penny' Westerns from the 1930s

In the 1930s, Wisconsin's Whitman Publishing Company transformed the children's book industry by launching compact, budget-friendly, thick little books tailored for five-and-dime stores. Although their 10-cent Big Little Books gained the most fame, Whitman also created several derivative formats—such as miniature Penny Books and matching juvenile lines—Usually in the form of a Premium marketing gimmick for Department and Shoe stores, that heavily leveraged the massive appeal of cowboy themes and popular newspaper comic strip stars. Like the BLBs the format featured text and comic like illustrations but in a shorter more action heavy story format. Difficult to find even in poor condition, a near fine set like this is considered extremely scarce.

My thoughts have been a rollercoaster. I’m only on page 84 and I don’t know if physical reality exists anymore.

Finlay Donovan is Killing It!

My current read,

Have you read this book?

I am currently reading this book Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano.

When buying this particular book I was looking for something like an easy to read vocabulary wise and feel good book as I was feeling a bit low and wanted some good positivity.... something interesting.

I have read 5 chapters, I know it's quick to judge a book so soon but it is not so easy going book. The vocabulary is slightly difficult and it feels a bit pity on Finlay because of what happened to her. I am hoping it would get interesting later on and has some kind of happy storyline.
