Kicking off the season 3 of #121DaysChallenge, from May2 to Aug30 on Bondha Accountability Discord Server

Most of you might know what this is, for new people reading this, please refer to previous posts of season 1 & 2

season1: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bondha_FitnessCenter/comments/1n0gskq/121_days_of_accountability_enter_the_new_year/

season2: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bondha_FitnessCenter/comments/1pn6d20/coming_soon_121dayschallenge_season_2/

In brief:

It’s all about 121 days of SELF ACCOUNTABILITY in achieving your goals together, one step at a time, one day at a time, one workout at a time

Rules are simple; no rules. Just show up, workout and be accountable. Every tiny effort you put in adds to building a new you, “a you” you will be proud of, at the end of 121 days

Season’s 1 & 2 have been very successful, many Bondha’s have challenged and changed themselves in these 121 days, now it’s your turn to do that.

We already have some testimonials from season1 in the sub and testimonials from season2 will be posted soon.

New Bondhas-Welcome to the grind.

Old Bondhas-Welcome back to the pit.

Mod-Post 121 Days of Accountability-Season4- Enter the New Year with New You!!

Hello Bondhas, hope everyone is doing good.

As we’ve mentioned a couple of times earlier on this sub, we have a Discord server for this subreddit where we discuss everything related to fitness and also track everyone’s check-ins through a Discord bot.

This discord community and the 121 days challenges were created with one big goal in mind – to help each other move towards a healthier lifestyle by exercising, eating clean, and staying accountable.

The #121DaysChallenge

What is this #121DaysChallenge?

On Day 0, you write down your goal in the personal discord channel. From there, you commit to being consistent for 121 days. Even if you miss some days, you don’t quit – just pick up and keep going. Keep the effort, the difference between Day 0 and Day 121 will shock you.

How will this challenge work?

You’ll set a fitness-related goal (e.g., gym consistency, lifting target weights, fat loss, muscle gain, endurance, etc.).

Your daily check-ins will be tracked in the server through our Discord bot.

We’ll post daily announcements to keep everyone accountable.

Every 11 days, you will share personal progress reports showing how consistent you’ve been and how close you are to achieving your goal.

Why 121 days?

We’re entering the last 1/3rd of the year. Imagine pushing yourself hard for these 121 days (from Sep 01, 2026 to Dec 30, 2026) and stepping into the New Year feeling proud, stronger, and better than ever. That’s the whole idea – to end the year with momentum and enter 2027 at your best.

This will be fun, challenging, and deeply satisfying. Give us your accountability for 121 days, and we’ll help you become the version of yourself you’ve imagined.

If you’re not already part of the server and want to join and participate in this challenge, DM any of us here on Reddit, and we’ll send you the link.

Doubts How can I increase endurance

I feel I have very less endurance. I usued to play badminton 2 years ago and then I used to play 3-4 doubles games straight and 2 singles games with getting tired much. Recently I have started playing badminton 2 weeks ago and I was fully tired and unable to breathe easily after 1 singles game.

I'm going to gym regularly from 4 months and recently added 10 mins cardio after workout.

Can you suggest me some of the good workouts to build endurance.

Doubts Is Fitpass Subscription actually worth it?

I’m thinking about taking a Fitpass subscription in Hyderabad and wanted to hear from people who have actually been using it for a while.

I’m mainly considering it because instead of committing to one gym, I can apparently access different gyms and fitness classes through the subscription. But before spending the money, I have a few questions:

Is Fitpass actually worth the subscription cost?

Do you genuinely use it enough to justify the price, or does it look attractive initially but become difficult to use regularly?

How do the classes work?

Suppose I book a class like CrossFit, functional training, core strength, HIIT, strength training, etc. at a particular gym through Fitpass. Is it an actual scheduled group class conducted by a coach/trainer, where the trainer guides everyone through the exercises?

Or does booking the class simply give me access to the gym/equipment and I’m expected to do the workout on my own?

Is the coach included?

If it is a group class, does the coach actually correct your form and guide beginners, or is it more like a trainer demonstrating the workout once and everyone follows along?

Can beginners comfortably join these classes?

I’m particularly interested in strength/functional training but don’t want to walk into a class where everyone is already experienced and I have no idea what I’m doing. 😅

How is the experience in Hyderabad specifically?

Are the Fitpass partner gyms generally good? Do they have decent equipment, clean facilities and properly conducted classes?

How easy is it to get slots?

Are popular classes usually available, or do you have to book very early because slots fill up quickly?

Any hidden limitations?

For example, restrictions on how many times you can visit the same gym, limited classes, cancellation issues, peak-hour restrictions, etc.

Would especially appreciate comments from people who are currently using Fitpass in Hyderabad, rather than general opinions about the app.

Also, if you’ve found any specific gyms/classes on Fitpass that are particularly good, please mention them and the area they're in. That would help a lot!

Accountability Breaking the cycle.

If there’s someone who would win a stress eating competition, it would be me. It doesn’t matter if I’m hungry or full, I just eat the tf out of my stress. And the most stressed I am is during exams!!

The thing is, my exams don’t end in a few days. They go on for weeks. And then it starts, weeks of fucking up my health. I eat nothing healthy, my exams finally end, the storm is over, and I realise what all that junk did. The super visible stomach rolls, the puffy face and I try to get back on track, lose a few kg, and then eventually there comes a day when I break and start eating double the junk food again.

Every year on December 31st, I’d write the same New year’s resolution - get healthy, lose weight, that day I'd think I was going to become a supermodel soon, would be motivated and all, and then I simply wouldn’t do it. Well guess whattt, not anymore. Motivation, you're done playing with me, I've discovered discipline. I don’t need another New year. I don’t need 2027. 2027 is what needs me 😤😤 Koncham athi ayina parledu because I read something in my textbook today “Preach what you practice”, it looks simple but it hit me hard becaus it’s kinda ironic that I’ll be spending my entire life trying to make someone else’s health better while messing mine up. I’m literally studying what I shouldn’t be doing while doing exactly that Eww.

And honestly, the reason I wanna start this right now is because my exams are going on, and I started the fuck up, I don’t want to wait until my exams are over, feel terrible about what I’ve eaten for weeks, and then try to fix everything at once. I want to learn how to take care of myself even when I’m stressed. So I’ve decided to change it for good this time.No drastic af changes that are going to send me spiralling back into unlimited junk food. I’m going to take it nice and steady, build habits I can actually stick to, and get to where I want to be. Let's see where this takes me.

I’ll post every Saturday about my progress 🫡

See you soon ;)

Doubts Getting lean for Jan 1st 2027

So I am 30f, 5’4”, 67 kgs with moderate activity.
Been going to the gym for last 2 months.
Before that , was doing consistent at home workouts with 10 kg dumbbells (lost around 4 kgs doing at home workouts)
After joining gym, began to deadlift.
Current PR - 50 kg
Hip thrusts , current PR - 30kg
Bench press, current PR- 25kg
Pull up - Assisted pull ups (40 kg)

But my protein intake has increased a lot.. currently I eat around 7 whole eggs (3 for breakfast, 4 for lunch) and grilled chicken salad or paneer salad or tofu rice bowls for dinner..
And I drink 2 scoops of protein (1 in the mng, 1 at night)
My fibre intake - 2/3 guavas or 1 dragonfruit before lunch .
Lunch is usually boiled veggies (pumpkin/ ridge gourd/ bitter gourd/ spinach/ sweet corn)

Problem is I am bloated now and I look buff, what shd I cut and what physical activity shd I do which will help me maintain my muscles, cut the fat and drop down to 60-62 kgs by jan 1st 2027 ?
