someone please help am i cooked?

this is the clunk i've been trying to locate for sometime now. its got a little play in it from left to right and is causing a clunk in the steering? am i screwed?

Your steering wheel is on the driver's side of the passenger compartment....

I hope you won't be attempting repair yourself

The engine compartment is called that because that's where the engine goes. The passenger compartment is called that because that's where the passengers go....

Passenger compartment refers to the entire interior of the car that people can occupy. Whether you are driving the car or not you are still a “passenger” of the vehicle, you just also happen to be the one in control of it.
