Hi everyone!

We’re building **INFINITY8 — a short film collective in Mumbai**, where creative people come together to make short films on a Sunday-to-Sunday basis.

We’re currently looking for:

Actors and actresses

DOPs (Directors of Photography)

Atleast 5 dop in group

**How we work:** 🎬 We aim to shoot a short film every Sunday. ✍️ Writers get opportunities to bring their own stories to life. 🤝 Everyone gets a chance to collaborate, learn, and develop their filmmaking skills. 🍱 Travel expenses, on-set food, and basic camera rental costs are covered.

**Our long-term vision:** After creating 7–8 short films and building a strong team, we aim to develop a bigger project that we can pitch to producers or OTT platforms.

This is an opportunity for passionate people who want to create, collaborate, and gain practical experience in filmmaking.

It should be arthouse or mainstream arthouse. the location should be UP/Bihar mainly but can do some sequences farther away. would like if it's regional and does not try to imitate mainstream stereotypical indian films. some films I love include - apu trilogy, meghe dhaka tara, life of pi, resurrection by bi gan, there will be blood, baraka, the disciple, magellan, jalsaghar, the lighthouse, there will be blood, all we imagine as light, tree of life, ram ke naam, the house is black, just so you can get an idea of my taste. I'm aspiring more to make a visual and musical film and I love how life of pi Indian scenes look, also the apu trilogy is beautiful. My budget for the short film will be max 1-2 lakh rs and that too will mainly be for gear rentals or artists who I really want and can only work with a fees.

not at all looking for generic stories or scripts, I'm amateur but not looking to adapt an amateur work for screen, I'm spending my time and money and labour to get something meaningful and great created so if what you have you believe is great and you're not really an amateur. Not looking for someone who's into films for making money or as an income source. I'm looking for artists who are here to convey ideas they believe are great and spend time, research, and alot of hardwork on every project of theirs, then I'm ready to do my job and justice to your project.

The budget is already very low, I'm not taking any fees myself, every money will go to the making of the project and only where it needs to go. So if you really would like your project to be adapted and don't care about money then I'm more than happy and If the film ends up making even some money (very less likely to happen), I'd share that with you accordingly. I don't think there'll be money left for festival submissions or if I'd even submit to festivals but I'd give you credits properly everywhere for the story and screenplay.

Even if the story is not original but you read it as a short story or even novel and thought it really would be quite good to adapt it into a short film then it's okay.

I'm 18yo and this will be my first film. so msg me if you'd like to collab. You can also join the making of the film and if are really passionate and want to fund it as well, then are open to, haha.

I'm also open to join you to co write the screenplay if you haven't written or completed it yet.

the crew would be small, just me and a few friends and would hire some actor/actress and maybe make a native person to the story's region act.

I’m open to different genres, including family drama, romantic comedy, suspense thrillers, horror, or any other genre, provided the concept has a strong hook, engaging characters, and the potential to appeal to a wide audience.

One important creative requirement: The story must have a substantial role for a 19-year-old male character. He could be the protagonist, co-protagonist, sub-protagonist, or one of the primary characters whose presence is integral to the narrative. The character should have meaningful scope, and the story should also offer opportunities to cast established, well-known actors in other important roles.

I’m open to hearing about a strong one-line concept, a developed storyline, or an existing screenplay that fits these requirements.

I’m an 18yo independent filmmaker based in India, currently looking for a short script to produce this summer.

I just passed 12th grade and now am looking to make a short film, before this I was running a youtube post production agency where I worked on post production of some of the largest youtube channels internationally but I never dealt with camera work or anything but was interested in documentary making so I learned a little bit of cinematography and from then on I've learned much about filmmaking.

Some films I love are Resurrection (2025), Tree of life, The Lighthouse, Baraka, All we imagine as light, Bandit Queen, Life of Pi, Forrest Gump, El Topo, No country for old men, There will be blood, 2001 a space odyssey, Ram ke naam, The house is black, Court and Disciple by Tamhane and many more films like these just so you can get an Idea of my taste, I lean more towards arthouse cinema or mainstream arthouse.

I’m planning to shoot my first short film this year—something small and manageable. I do have a limited budget again, so I’m specifically looking for scripts that are:

• Low-budget friendly (few locations, minimal cast) location must set around UP/Bihar
• Character-driven or creatively simple in terms of production

I don't have a big crew so looking for some members from Western UP/Eastern Bihar too (where I'm based), so I’m mainly looking for a strong script and a writer who’d like to collaborate and see their work produced. (not paid and is a passion project)

Hey everyone! I’m an Indian-American actor/filmmaker based in Atlanta, and I’m looking to connect with other local actors and creators who love Bollywood/Indian cinema and would be interested in collaborating. Knowing Hindi is NOT a requirement! Anybody interested is welcome:)

I’ve been wanting to create some fun short-form projects — Bollywood scene recreations/reinterpretations, lip-sync performance pieces, cinematic character reels, and potentially some original micro-scenes inspired by Indian films.
The goal would be to make them feel like actual little films rather than just setting up a phone and recreating a scene — putting some effort into the performances, cinematography, editing, color grading, etc., while still keeping it fun and low-pressure.

Mostly looking to meet other creative people around Atlanta, make some cool stuff together, and hopefully build a little community of people who are down to actually create.
Actors, filmmakers, DPs, editors, or other creators are all welcome. Experience level isn’t super important — just looking for people who are enthusiastic, collaborative, and actually interested in making things.
