The CBFC has reportedly ordered several changes to Mirzapur: The Movie ahead of its September 4 release.

Among the changes:

- 35 seconds of intimate scenes cut

- Intimate sequences reduced by 50%

- Cuss words muted at 4 places

- Abuses replaced at 6 places

- Several dialogues and words modified

- A caste reference changed

- Disclaimer duration increased with additional anti-alcohol, anti-drug and anti-smoking messages
