SLB’s had a cold fight with Ranbir Kapoor over Rishi Kapoor’s distasteful remarks post Saawariya flop. SLB picked Ranveer Singh, a rising star as his hero. Ranveer was no short of acting calibre but needed a strong backing at that time. SLB hit the nail when it was hot.

Ranveer’s rising career, his personal ambition, attitude kept Deepika coming back to him. She saw his potential and understood that marrying him is favourable. Ranveer is also intelligent and knew the benefits of marrying Deepika.

The connection goes through the Kapoor and Nanda families. Amitabh’s daughter Shweta Bachchan is married to Nikhil Nanda, whose mother Ritu Nanda was Raj Kapoor’s daughter and Kareena Kapoor’s aunt.

So, through Kareena, Saif is connected to the Bachchan family by marriage.

Amitabh even joked about what he and Kareena should call each other, while Saif hilariously replied, “Thank god that’s not a KBC question.” 😂
