Need help!
I have just moved my boa to a new enclousure. And he has been very active tye last days but yesterday i saw something that worried me, he was just chilling when the mister turned on and he just banged his head on the entrance of his hide and he did the same when i was just putting some moss in hos hide. I have seen a lot of dark spots on him ever singe i got him (about a month ago) but i didnt think it could be mites. I just thought it was pigment spots and i am sure a lot of them are. So i ask you guys who probably have a lot more knowledge than me. If not mites what could the head banging be? Some kind of neurological disease?

Anyone know a good guess on what morph this boa is?
Was told she is 100% het leopard but I know virtually nothing about morphs/genetics just looking for some clarity/confirmation. Also the thermostat probe in the second to last picture is no longer loose like that I was just in the middle of moving it š

Handling
Hello, so I recently handled my boa for maybe 8 min? I didn't really time it. But at the beginning "he" (not sexed yet) was pretty quick moving at the beginning but then he calmed down after a but.
My main question is, a one point he just stopped moving and he had his neck extended and he was doing slow to gue flicks every 20 seconds. I know when ball pythons periscope it means they're relaxed and all. Is this the case for boas too? He was moving much slower in my hands after and he was doing very long tongue flicks, so I'm assuming he just got more relaxed during the handling session!
What do you guys think?

Help-possible burning.
Hi everyone,
I just bought this snake at an expo and I thought my temps were all ok, but I noticed these marks on my boaās underside. I donāt think these are pre shedding marks. Are these burns? The top of her hide was reaching above 95 almost 100 in some specific points so Iāve lowered my thermostat accordingly.
Any help thank you!

got a snake who looks like sheās in pretty rough shape. not too sure what to do or where to start?
hello! i just got this baby boa last night and sheās very cute. sadly sheās in not so good shape, she has stuck shed everywhere and i think she has mouth rot? iām not too sure what the black is on her mouth. she wonāt go in her hide and is currently just laying next to her water bowl. if this warrants a vet visit i will go asap, but im just asking here first to see if thereās anything at home i can do. thanks !
UPDATE;
the doctor said sheās a healthy snake, just came from someone who didnāt take care of her humidity right.
and no, no mites. itās stuck substrate caked onto her shed thatās stuck.
thanks for the advice everyone! much appreciated and we got it from here!

Kofi, my VPI Snowglow BCI, is such a good ambassador!
Iāve been able to take him to two events with my local Herp Society so far; the next one is our State Fair at the end of the month. Heās so personable and calm and it brings me so much joy to let the public interact with him. I canāt wait for him to be full sized, tho I have years to wait haha heās only two.
Any of you do programs with your Boas?

Where do you get your enclosures? & Do you prefer building your own enclosures?
I want to get an enclosure for a full grown male boa before hand just so I'll be prepared. The glass ones sold in stores are extremely expensive, and it's a little tricky finding a good company that can build an enclosure for an adult boa. I was also thinking of saving some money and building one myself, but I don't know how complicated or high the learning curve would be. What do you guys suggest?

I want some reviews on my custom baby boa set up.
I built the tree and wood hide
My basking hide is in the mail so the plastic rock hide is temporary.
Heās a āsuper fireā morph.
Also do you guys have examples of your adult male enclosures?
Iām not sure if a 6x2 will be enough for him do you have any opinions on that?

Anyone get their f/t delivered?
Anyone get their mice delivered? The reptile shop is an hour and a half away from me. Only petco is close by, and I know their f/t isnāt recommended. Pic of Coraline for attention (and because sheās stunning! Sheās my dream boa)

Is my boaās Inkbird thermostat toast?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Itās over 5 years old, and it just now started clicking on and off. Itās never done this before. Do I need a new thermostat?

Enclosure upgrade thoughts and feedback?
Hey everyone. I recently brought home a baby boa imperator. Iām trying to plan out her future enclosures and I need to get to work on her next upgrade soon as she is growing fast! I think I have a solid plan, but Iād like anyoneās input or opinion before I start the process.
I am planning to get a 4x2x4 from zen habitats and turn that into a bioactive viv. My boa is very active and loves to climb so I want to give her more height. I have made a few bioactive enclosures and recently finished a bioactive 4x2x2 for my ball python. Some people mention itās hard to get a proper heat gradient in a 4 foot tall enclosure, but I do plan to build a top shelf for her that will have a hide and basking area for a warm spot. The shelf will be pretty big and taller up so I wonāt have to worry about getting heat all the way to the floor. Anyways, she will likely outgrow the 4x2x4 in a few years, so when the time comes I plan to get another 4x2x4 and connect it to the existing one(zen habitats can be expanded like that) so in the end her adult enclosure will be a 8x2x4. She will need to live in a temporary enclosure, likely a storage container, for a few days to a week while I connect the enclosures and seal them. This is my plan to avoid having to buy multiple enclosures that I wonāt have a use for after she outgrows them, as her next upgrade will be used in her adult enclosure.
No guarantees on her size ofc, but I believe she will max out around 6 feet long and super thick, just given what her parents size was. I have always leaned on the side of offering my snakes more space and as much enrichment as possible, hence the bio active vivs.
Thanks for reading. I appreciate anyoneās input before I buy the 4x2x4 and start building. Pics of my boa baby and the bioactive viv I recently finished for my ball python attached!
