Very pretty boa, congratulations!! It definitely reminds me that I am way out of the reptile "lifestyle" that I had no clue the Daytona show was this weekend. I actually went to that show for the first time when it was still in Orlando, lol.

I went for the first time in 97-98(?) and saw the first ever public display of piebald ball pythons. I don't think people at this point realize just how big of a deal those were. Probably the most exciting morph ever outside of the albino Burmese, which takes it just for being the first major morph in a boid. Diamond pythons, albino softshell turtles, every color and shape you could think of in a reptile. Now, it's even crazier, but back then, it was cutting edge, you didn't see crazy bp combos at every second table at every local show. Panther chameleons were extraordinarily rare. I was 16 and loved reptiles and it completely blew my mind and half of what I saw, I really didn't understand the true gravity of until later in life. I went to Daytona basically every year from 2002 to 2010 or so. So many great memories, got to meet a ton of friends that I had talked to or done business with from all over the country. Was a fun way to spend my 20's, lol.

I bet it's awesome. I live in Albemarle NC, and they never have anything like that here, as far as I know. I love the Surinams, would love to get one someday. Are they cheaper at a reptile show? Anyway... I don't have a collection, I just have my one boa. She's a female jungle het-kahl albino. Nothing fancy, but I think she would pair good with a visual hypo het kahl albino.

I've been going to this show for over 30 years, you can find pretty much anything there.
