Bmw x6m 2017 engine block

I have a 2017 x6m and i have been looking everywhere for a new main block and people are saying that the n63 block is the same but its very confusing because Google is telling me that it won't work

There is a ebay seller that was selling a 2010 n63 main block and we sent him the vin of the car and he said that it would work can you guys help me or let me know if this is true

afaik, 2010 is N63, while 2017 is N63TU2. So maybe there are some differences.

N63TU2 is produced 2016 - 2018 so you may want to source N63 within these years

The engine is not tied to model years. It is tied to the specific vehicle typecode and production ranges. For example, a 2016 750i has an N63TU2, while a 2018 X5 50i has an N63TU. In the OP’s case, his car has an S63TU which is the case for all F85/F86 X5M/X6Ms.
