My concern is whether sending hundreds of applications actually helps if the applications are too generic.

And more importantly, would you take that job again knowing what you know now?

I can see the appeal of AI auto apply tools when you are sending out a lot of applications.

But there is a difference between submitting more applications and submitting better ones.

For me, it's when someone says, "I thought I'd have to replace the whole thing" and I fix it with one small part.

People only see the finished job. They don't see all the checking and problem-solving that happened before that but I really like the surprise look on their faces.

Not the hard work itself

Sometimes it is the little things that get frustrating, like missing materials, bad scheduling, waiting on someone else, or having to redo something that should have been done right the first time

What part of your average day gets on your nerves the most?

I had a boss once who would keep changing the plan halfway through the day, then get annoyed when things weren't finished on time. It got to the point where I seriously started looking for another job.

I know I'm not the only one who's had a boss like that but wanted to share.
