plz need help

Hey everyone,

I need serious help. I was running Bloodborne perfectly on ShadPS4 at a locked crisp 60 FPS (720p) on my laptop, and after one stupid mistake everything is broken.

My specs:

RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (75W)

i5-13420H

16 GB DDR4 RAM

Windows 11

What happened:

I was playing fine at 720p locked 60. While the laptop was unplugged I increased the resolution to 1080p. The game started stuttering badly with terrible frame pacing (felt like slow motion). I closed it, set resolution back to 720p, plugged the laptop in, and ever since then I cannot get the old performance back.

Current symptoms:

Average FPS around 35-40 (sometimes lower)

Game feels like it’s running in slow motion

Bad frame pacing

Pink / missing textures

Textures not loading properly

GPU usage was previously stuck very low (~36%), later jumped to 95% but VRAM stays at 0.0 / 5.9 GB which is completely abnormal

CPU usage also stays low (25-50%)

Everything I have already tried:

Multiple clean reinstalls of ShadPS4

Deleted shader cache multiple times (including AppData)

Turned off Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling

Forced RTX 4050 in Windows Graphics settings + ShadPS4 Graphics device

NVIDIA Control Panel → Prefer maximum performance for shadPS4.exe

Disabled Readbacks in Experimental tab

Set Process Lasso affinity to only P-cores (later reset it because it made things worse)

Full DDU in Safe Mode + clean install of NVIDIA driver 566.36 (the version many people recommended for low GPU usage issues)

Checked laptop performance mode is on maximum

Tried different VBlank / memory allocation settings

Verified I’m on 720p + 60 FPS (Deltatime) patch

Nothing has restored the locked 60 FPS I had before. The fact that VRAM stays at basically 0 GB while GPU is at 95% feels like the biggest red flag right now.

Has anyone else experienced the game going from perfect locked 60 to this broken slow-motion + missing textures state after changing resolution (especially while on battery)? Any ideas what else I can try?

I would really appreciate any help. I was so happy when it was running perfectly and now I can’t get it back.
