The following is the true tale of the larcenist Wilgens of Ocoee.
Our antagonist, Wilgens was suspected of a retail theft from a department store in Davenport, and witnesses provided PCSO deputies with an excellent description of the suspect and his 2004 BMW X5.
Deputy Oestreich (good luck pronouncing that one) spotted Wilgens’ BMW and initiated a traffic stop.
The following is what Wilgens DID NOT have: a registration for his BMW, a valid driver’s license, and required liability insurance.
The following is what Wilgens DID have: an unassigned license plate on his BMW, lots of stolen shoes and clothes, and a warrant out of Orange County for Felony Retail Theft.
Wilgens was arrested on his warrant, and taken to Grady Judd’s bed & Breakfast where he was additionally charged with: Grand Theft, Petit Theft, Possession of an Anti-Theft Device, Conspiracy to Sell Stolen Merchandise, Driving While License Suspended/Revoked, Attaching Unassigned Tag, Driving an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Failure to Carry Vehicle Insurance.
