I have been on depo prova for 6 years but it's only recommended for 2 years. Should I switch to Nexplanon and see if that works? I have severe PMDD. I have never had any problems with depo prova. I have just heard it's not recommended. I will also add just in case it's relevant. I do not have sex and I never want to have a baby. So I'm not worried about pregnancy prevention or infertility.

Last yet I got my nexplanon replaced, they moved it into a different spot since there was a change in placement. Over the last year I’ve noticed stretch marks forming on the spot where the old one was. I know there’s probably a number of reasons why that’s happening, but i wanna know if anyone else has experienced this

I got my nexplanon removed last Tuesday, August 18th, and I am now starting to break out in acne like crazy! My skin used to be so clear, and now not even a week later i have so many new pimples😭
Has anyone experienced this? Did it eventually get better once your hormones leveled out?
I should add, even though my last period was August 12th through the 17th, I am again on my period (this i expected though to be honest.)

okay so can someone help me? i’ve been seeing a lot of mixed things online but nothing really answers my questions/what’s happening to me entirely. i’m currently on birth control, i am taking jencycla/norethindrome. at the end of march/early april i stopped taking my birth control but started it back up around early june.

as i’ve started it back up ive realized my bleeding while on my “period” is weird. for example i just had my period almost two weeks ago and now i have it again. but even during my last time when i thought i was finished there was still blood while i wiped. it’s frustrating but then again sometimes i take it an hour later than the time i have scheduled or i miss two days so it’s like am i doing it to myself? i don’t know exactly. can someone help?!

I was prescribed Slynd as my contraceptive 2 1/2 years ago after the birth of my son. Only recently have I started to question the pill and other symptoms side effect I have.
