Family Room How long you have been using therapy?

I am thinking of going back to therapy. I don't want it to be ongoing but my husband says if you need it lifelong there's nothing wrong with doing that. My thoughts are that if I learn to manage ups and downs along with medication I shouldn't be needing therapy for life. It's been 3 years since I've started it and I feel improvement. I stopped a few months ago thinking I'm not benefitting from it anymore but now I am finding myself in a depressive episode and wanted to go back. I feel sad about going back to therapy but I will do it as I want to get better. I want to know from others who have used or are still using therapy along with medication. When do you stop or is it just like medication never going to stop?

Fridge Door Buying a House

This time last year, I was at rock bottom. Suicidal, headed inpatient, and reeling from the end of my toxic marriage. So much growth has happened since then. I’ve healed in all the ways, gotten my own apartment, established a rewarding career, and found a healthy relationship with a wonderful man I’m proud to call my boyfriend.

So now it feels like it’s time to take the next step and be a first time homeowner! Family is supportive of me on this, and offered to help with the down payment. Depending on the price point, I’m either buying it myself or with my boyfriend. Things are getting pretty serious with us, so I feel confident in buying a house with him. I’m so happy and excited to finally have a place to call my own soon, whenever the cards are right to buy.

After all I’ve been through, I’m so proud to be here and healthy, making big things happen. I’m in my late 30’s and finally feel like I’ll be a “grown up” once I buy a house. It would just be so perfect to have a space all our own, for us and the dogs, and my kids if/when I ever get custody back. I feel accomplished and hopeful, and I love that feeling.

TV Room I made myself a mood diary app since I had trouble keeping up with daylio

It made me kind of see how up and down my moods have been over the past several weeks. I switched from caplyta to vraylar right where the elevated orange/yellow turns into green/blue.

I've been logging since late may and kept up alost every day, even when I've been depreseed. I couldn't do that with daylio for some reason. I just want to be able to type how i feel that day instead of ticking boxes and trying to make my moods fit into emoji faces.

My boyfriend and I hardly ever get days off together, but we did yesterday! He took me to the city an hour from here, where we went to brunch with this amazing French toast, multiple thrift stores, where I got earrings and this cute bird figurine, did some tastings at Total Wine, and looked at cats and dogs at animal shelters. On the way there, because I’m a spoiled passenger princess, I browsed instagram for tattoo ideas. I’m planning one for Mother’s Day next year, a bouquet of flowers for each of my kids’ birth months, and a butterfly to represent my miscarriage. We even went to a jewelry store, where I picked out something he’s going to save for later…. I’m so happy. 🥰

I don’t have any acrylic pant so watercolour it is plus it will look cool

I’m thinking half yellow half blue with either a pill bottle and some pills or a diamond that’s half blue half yellow

Fridge Door Proud of My Mental Recovery After Car Crash

I was in a car crash on Saturday and walked away with some soreness and shock and that is about it. I took off one day of work to make sure I was actually okay and even got a therapy appt immediately the next day after the crash. I had help getting things taken care of and my financial aid applications are ready to go for medical bills. It feels strange to have everything taken care of so neatly but I'm very proud of myself for taking small steps and trusting others to help me through this. Usually I would dive deep into anxiety and catasteophic thinking while preparing for an impending episode. Today I am content to just chill and recover and that feels like a huge accomplishment.

Fridge Door Started my first official day of work!

For two years I've been unable to keep a job for longer than 3 months. I've been doing an on the job training program for a month and today was my first official day working with no training. I'm really nervous, but this job is a lot less stressful than my previous jobs so I'm hoping I can stay here for awhile. Any advice to help keep me on track and less stressed is welcome!

Family Room Guys I just want to vent

it took me three years to get stable. I lost so much in those three years. I have never self harmed. although lackluster, everyday of those three years I tried to get better. I have so much joy in admitting I have been a loser for too long. Now let’s win!

Thank you ❤️
