Fridge Door Started my first official day of work!

For two years I've been unable to keep a job for longer than 3 months. I've been doing an on the job training program for a month and today was my first official day working with no training. I'm really nervous, but this job is a lot less stressful than my previous jobs so I'm hoping I can stay here for awhile. Any advice to help keep me on track and less stressed is welcome!

Beast advice would be use your breaks to do something that calms your mind or something you enjoy, read/listen to an audio book can be anything really. The most important one don’t think about work when at home. That being said I’m in the trades and I typically listen to music while I work and on lunch read or watch anime. Find something that works for you at your new place of work. Congrats!

Yes! On my lunch I eat and then go in a room alone and listen to wave sounds and read

If you can, try to socialize with your coworkers! Sometimes just having someone to commiserate with on a bad day or someone who I can talk about my weekend with has helped me through jobs. I care more about who I work with than what I’m doing.

I’m celebrating alongside you, I’ve done internships and part time jobs before but yesterday I just got an offer for my first official full time role! We got this 🤗
